    Following a similar path.
I have a Nomad 1 on order (it’s the only version available in Canada and ‘supposed’ to arrive today). My rear rack from Velotric has arrived, as has my suspension seat post, derailleur guard, phone holder, and FlatOut tire sealer.
I’m holding off on an adjustable stem and seat at this time, until I’ve logged a few miles to see how the stock setup feels, but I’m pretty excited to get rolling.

Sounds like a nice setup your going to have. Unless I change bars I think the stock stem will work for me.

Being adjustable, your stem should be great. The OG Nomad has a fixed stem, so I will see where my hands land when seated comfortably. Happy riding!

very Nice! Ive been gonna get a nomad awhile. I been watching velotric reviews & im hooked.
sadly the nomad plus has one thing I dont want
a little higher top end speed, But [to me] the more important low end torque to get up a steep grade is a "little" less than before [I want the old nomad] :(
the plus has other upgrades that are good - like the battery and a few other water proof/resistance
my fav is the mango too. I almost got the teal as it was 1200, but like a goof I waited in hopes for a mango, awwww frenzy denied
My 1st ebike was a Favoto fearless - a step over
then another Favoto Flurry 2.0 ST [step thru] which has become my favorite
it has the rack, adjustable stem and will climb as the nomad did. [just under 800] so yeah same specs, same warranty, it is my favorite.
Buut I still want a Nomad [the older one] I can add a rack and I do like your decals and upgrades.
my wife got me a cloud 9, but its still in the box as to my surprise the flurry ST seat has turned out to be just right [for me] still a hard tail, but on gravel 15 PSI on hard pack or paved I go 20 PSI [im 230lbs] so right for me.
yeah range might suffer, but I want to be comfy :D
im 64 6'4" and live in North Idaho.
still have sisters in the bay area. and I think the GG park would be a lot of fun on an ebike.
the waterfront would be fun too.
in the off season Yosemite would be fun.
for more info contact STC [shoot the chit] a youtuber that lives in antioch cali as he goes on some great
    rides.
there is so much to see in North Cal [I lived there a few years, just worked too much to enjoy it]
the beach areas of Samoa [near Eureka] agate beach, moonstone beach uh the mad river areas [Arcata]
all have some really nice trails to explore.

I didnt ride the first version of the Nomad, but for me this makes the perfect fat tire cruiser. Smooth power deliver, comfortable riding position, easy to get on on and off, and really nice build quality.

Is the display screen visible with polarized sunglasses? Looks like it might be. I ride a Aventon Aventure 1.0 and find that 18-front and 20-rear is a very good combo for comfortable tire pressure. I rode my 1999 Rad City for 4,000 miles and sold it when I got the Aventon in Feb. 2022. I will turn over 7,500 miles today or tomorrow but I'm being attracted to this bike you're riding here. There's part of me that wants to hit the 10,000 mile mark before moving on but the force is strong and you are helping it pull me in!

This is really the first cruiser I have gotten that gave me the perfect riding position right out of the box, with only adjusting the seat height and Handlebar angle. The other things I plan on doing is only to enhance what I already think is good. Those miles you have put in is pretty empressive.

    • @theridewithlance
      @theridewithlance  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Also, yes. You can see the screen with polarized sunglasses.

Tire pressure makes a big difference on any bike but especially on a fat tire bike. You could go even lower as long as you're staying on smooth trails and watching for sharp edges. I know you already know this but one downside to lower tire pressures is that it will increase rolling resistance and cost range.

All good advice. 20psi seems to be my sweet spot.

I'm sad to say lance but I've had my rad 6 plus a year now and I've covered over 500 miles and it's been faultless. I'm in the UK and I'm finding it's a little lacking in power, you are so lucky to have so many fat tyre ebikes available to you.i love the look of this ebikes your on but unfortunately it isn't available to me,have you had any dealings with engwe if so how do you rate there bikes ,as the engwe E26 is one I'm looking at,thanks lee

    • @theridewithlance
      @theridewithlance  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Yes, compared to the bikes out there now it is underpowered. Sound like the new Radsters have a lot more power. The only experience with Engwe is the Engine Pro 2.0. It has plenty of hill climbing power. More than any bike I have. I don't know much about the E26, but I think it might be a bit underpowered to.

Does it have a torque sensor or cadence sensor?

    • @theridewithlance

No torque sensor, but a really smooth cadence sensor.

@@Rip1Outdoors gee half price, yeah Ive found selling ebikes is tough here.
      even at half price.
I buy mine and once I buy it, its mine. no one seems to want to buy.
like others are listed and at price of new!?! [I dont see them selling]
Id like to buy @ half price of new myself.
its become my latest addiction -
yup money lost, Oh well its a hobby - sigh
