This thing just goes wherever the heck it wants to
I don't post much.. but if you buy this thing... you'll be charging the unit for about 6 hours for 20 minutes of recovery.... every time you take off and trim.... trim changes as soon as you put any directional input into the controls... so you spend the rest of the 4 minutes of flight time recovering what it's doing... watch all the vids, you'll notice nobody actuall flys this thing except for this guy and 1 other guy... good luck!

Awesome video, I noticed that some of the footage was shot in Tampa, Florida! That was the 1st place I flew this drone!

I really "Like" this guy. He seems to have a natural teaching ability. He's got common sense too. His best advice is when he says, and I quote, "Be sure all of you kids fly this at eye level so you can poke-out the eye of your teacher." Ahh. It's nice to see that school hasn't changed since I went. -Bill Howes, making ~America~ better by giving sound advice.

Such a cute little drone, sadly it took me 4 to get to where i am now due to my carelessness that i had, now im flying really good, it wasnt the companies fault but i plan on getting more. Technological advances are pretty impressive these days. :) Thanks Propel!

It takes practice to fly this. You can't expect to be perfect at it right out of the box. This is a cool little machine. Flew it over 30ft in the air and couldn't see it lol.

I think this is the same thing as the one I just got from Walgreen's for $30, doesn't say "Atom" and different colors. I like mine, no problems yet, good for in the house, easy to fly. If you expect blazing speed, instant reaction time or great performance outside get a bigger one.

This drone is one of the best eve.
Found this thingy in my closet didnt even know I had one charged it up and went to flight, my first 2 days of flight were fine until I got mines stuck on the roof due to bad control configuration had to get It down, today I had a problem where it wouldn't even take off, I fixed it by putting on the propellers the correct way and it's up and flying now.

It's a fun drone to play around with if you get bored easily like me
mine flies amazingly. I'm not sure what everyone else is complaining about.. it's incredibly stable for its size and price.
I put larger propellers on it from another micro drone and it’s slightly better all in all it’s an awesome drone!

@@Propelworld mine never lifts off the rear picks up but the front don't so It flips forward I replaced the blades and same thing. It's fully charged. What do I do?

The remote take AAA battery's well that's what mine takes. Good vid but how do you remove the propellers? I just got mine today and is fun just need to learn how to control it better

This mini drone is really cool i buyed other one and it was awful but this one is REALLY easy to control and it falls slowly when the battery is low.

Found it to be the most stable to fly out if this and the red5 nano which has shitty rx. Will try a Q4 next. This will have better flight time but less stability with normal props.
I also have an issue with mine: It seems to sync up with the remote just fine, but as soon as I give it enough rpm to lift off, it drops to the ground and all of the LED's are blinking rapidly. If I then pull the throttle stick all the way down, it seems to resync and the issue continues over and over. I cannot seem to find any help with this. Using fresh batteries and fully charged ATOM 1.0
We've never been able to control it this well. It does whatever it wants. Irritating. We have two and they both do it.
For such a small thing, this drone is amazing. The problem is to master it.

I have 2 different larger Propel drones, and call it operator error, but they are both crap to try to fly. The larger one just goes screaming into kamikaze mode and crashes instantly. The smaller one drifts to my left no matter how much I press the trim button, and one propeller is an air to air missile and keeps flinging itself across the room. The smaller drone plummets when it launches the one propeller (did I mention the propellers are press on? no screws, just held on by friction)
If you're flying/enjoying your drones, I'm glad for you. This is just expressing my experience with Propel products. They do make for a nice drone port diorama on my DVD shelf.
My usb charging cable has the red led on even if the quad is connected. Im pretty sure it's not fully charged since it won't fly anymore. Should i just replace it or am i doing something wrong?

Okay first, some of the propellers start slightly before the others start idk if that's normal or what. And second, it likes to go on different directions and i'm pretty sure the direction stick doesn't do much of anything.
My atom 1.0 lights stay solid now when I turn it on and it is fully charged. The remote light blinks now and will not sync or fly the drone. I only played with this thing for a couple hours so I'm glad I didn't pay much for it.
For those of you who purchased this drone or other micro drones who say it just ramps up but doesn't fly should check propellers for proper placement and direction of spin.

I plugged mine in to charge right out of the box. Followed the instructions in the manual, and the quad barely hovers above the ground. I tried both high speed, and low speed settings with the same results. I followed the charging instructions on this video and the charging cable light never turns off when plugging into the quad. According to this video, this behavior would indicate that the quad is fully charged.
Plus my quad loses communication with my remote as soon as it lands on the ground and will not reconnect. Very frustrating.
the problem with my charger USb is that the light does not stay off while it is charging for the full 30 minutes like it is supposed to... supposedly it should stay off when its charging but with mine after like 2 or 3 minutes it comes back on
The only problem I'm having is hovering
When I go up in the air it goes left or right hard I tried to trim it

just got my atom 1.0 today... crashed it a few times and went under the couch. Just took the hair that got caught in the blades and it just keeps going. also love to do the 360 flips. glad I got one
you know, Propel i have tried to become a member so that i could BUY replacement parts from you. After 4 Months if trying ill use the atom / Micro Zip base models (the boards) in my own home made drone, i could never get any support on the models so here what anyone needs to know. Motor Size: 6mm by 15mm .8mm shaft Battery size: 100 mah lipo/ li ion, those are the 2 parts that will always fail.
But if you lucky to be a member, im sure they will have your back. Good thing the board is well labeled too i really do appreciate it.

For some reason my xo1 propelled keeps on dropping out to it's fully charged all the bars are correct exactly what you say but still dropping altitude
Its my fist drone and Im really satisfied, its easy to fly and really durable. And its cheap af.
