Some information about the ICE3 and ICE4 (btw. usually it is letterspelled and never spoken as a word, thus called Ai Cee Eeh), the TGV and the Stadler Giruno. In Germany the ICE3 is operated between 250-300kmph depending on the section it is operated on (i.e. Frankfurt/Main Kassel) and on the french TGV sections it can also achieve 320kmph. The 330kmph is the certified Vmax the Velaro S (as this platform of train is called by Siemens). The ICE4 is already in operation and was initially certified for 250kmph on the entire german network. Certification has then been upgraded to allow operation speeds of up to 265kmph on selected lines (see above). Although the ICE4 is designwise capable of handling speeds of up to 350kmph, there are no plans yet to extend the operation speeds over 265kmph while it‘s certified Vmax is 320kmph. Yes, it is a complex situation in Germany as these trains also operate in other countries (not the ICE4 though which currently only serves Germany, Austria and Switzerland (i.e. Hamburg Interlaken). So all in all the ICE3 still remains the fastest series of ICE trains operated by Deutsche Bahn
And about the TGV: The operational Vmax of the single and doubledecker trains is limited to 320kmph. With the next-gen ETCS system that is supposed to be implemented in 2025, trains will probably reach speeds of up to 380kmph. Technically the normal version of the train is certified of speeds up to 400kmph. The speed of 574.8kmph during it‘s test drive has been done with a modified unit consisting only of 3 cars, specialized pantographs, bigger wheels (1085mm instead of the usual 925mm), a bigger power drain of 32000kW instead of the usual 18000kW and at a current of 35kV instead of 25kV.
Now on to the Swiss Giruno (spoken Dschiruhno, as it is italian for „Hawk“). This train composition has been built in 2016 and put into service in 2019 and currently operates at an operational Vmax of 250kmph, while it‘s certified Vmax is 275kmph. On independent tests, this trainsets has reached top speeds of up to 358kmph however only on a french test line as switzerland has no such long straight lines to accelerate to the top speed and then break down again in time. Generally there are no plans to extend the speed beyond the Vmax of 250kmph, not even though the Gottthard-Basistunnel due to technical and safety reasons.
Side info about the shanghai maglev that dominates the list with a top speed of 430kmph. Only 2 train courses during the day are currently operating at that top speed. The other courses operate at a lower speed of „only“ 350kmph. This is based upon the fact that the operator has troubles operating this train economically in the green zone. Also this results in a slight wear and tear on the „rolling stock“ as the manufacturer (Siemens) does no longer actively develop the Transrapid 08/09 series platform nor produce spare parts for it after there had been a serious accident in 2007 on the test track Emsland. The Transrapid 08 is dated back to 1999 when test drives were made (only 3 units have been built entirely consisting of 3 cars). The Shanghai Maglev Train (SMT) is a modified version with 5 cars. It‘s achieved top speed is 501kmph while Siemens also claims it could even reach operational(!) top speeds of up to 550kmph had the development not stopped in 2007. Sadly, when the SMT will cease to exist either to the EOL of the Transrapid 08 or when Shanghai is no longer able to keep the train operational, this era of german maglev engineering will be a thing of the past.
Hope that helps a little with correct stats while this video again is amazing!

Both ICE and Eurostar have a stations in Netherlands. The picture showing both trains should show that as it is likely Amsterdam central or schiphol

Why is it disappointing that something as controlled as a train can reach 268mph whereas a car (Hennessey Venom) can go faster? Surely a train should be going MUCH faster by now, a Maglev up to aircraft speeds as (again), it has more control of direction etc.

Umm… the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Sport has a VMax of 431kmph and a power of 1200HP / 882kW while moving 1888kg. The Shinkansen E6 for example reaches 320kmph using 6000kW and moving 435000kg. I think it‘s easy to see with a little knowledge of physics why that car is faster than a conventional train, although test cars of the Shinkansen L0 train set (for testing purposes) has reached a top speed of 603kmph! Try that with a conventional car even on a suitable road. There aren‘t even tires that would stand against these enormous speeds and forces!
