- To remove a stump, you have to get up close and personal.

This spruce didnt put up much of a fight. Apart from a few main roots that were around 6” in diameter, the rest were around 3” and easily ripped out by the excavator.

I only had access to about 70% of the root ball, as I was working up against a fence. Dig around the ball as much as possible, and underneath if you can. Rock the stump back and forth until the remaining roots break free. I used a recip to assist on one of the more stubborn ones.

Fill in lifts, and pack with the bucket. Rake it out and you are done.
This is perfect, I have a situation I am dealing with that is very much the same. Thank you for sharing!
Nice work in close quarters. 👍🏽🤠 9/21/23
Well done. I've never operated an excavator but I can rent a small mini excavator for a reasonable fee. If I like it , they have 56 hp , 18000 lb one I can try . You are not rough at all with that machine and I respect that. Ill probably watch this video again. Thanks.
What size machine is that ?? 3 tonnes?
Who cut that to make it a chair?
It’s like you’ve done this before . Nice 👍🙋🏼♂️👍👍
Nice work bro..anyway how many tons this mini excavator
You hit the fence post with the blade
What size machine is that
6:23, hard to tell but looks like kx121 printed on cab base which makes it a 3.9t machine
@@DappsJames I rented an 18ton mini. To clear 6 acres. It works so nice
