My dad and I witnessed the dude who jumped the other bike, landed in the soft dirt, saved it, then got back on track... It was the most incredible thing in street bike racing that we've ever seen. We both instantly stood up and put our hands on our heads in disbelief. A moment in motorsports I won't soon forget.

Dude, the guy in the blue has some serious reflexes. He was over the handle bars of that bike. And he brought himself right back and stood next to it and continued racing. That was incredible.😅😅
He didn't continue to race. He was trying to stop but since he couldn't shift down gears (can't clutch with your feet on the road) he only had the brakes to slow him down and couldn't do it quickly because he wasn't fully on the bike and it would have stopped before he did. Insane recovery and skill.

Naw, I've seen similar things happen at the club level. It's called survival instinct. Some guy in Seattle low sided his bike, stayed with it, hit a concrete wall, and the bike stood up, he landed in the seat, and continued on. Every bit as amazing as this video.

But in professional racing, it's expected that you perform at an extreme level of performance that the MC manufacturer has developed into that custom MC they designed around your body, weight, height, riding style and skill.

Locking the rear tire into a curve is scary as hell! I'm a 15 minute ride from some great canyon runs here in northern Utah. I'm not gonna pretend I have Moto GP/SBK skills, but I've drug the foot peg a time or 2. Be safe out there riders. Keep the rubber side down.

He didn't continue to race. He was trying to stop but since he couldn't shift down gears (can't clutch with your feet on the road) he only had the brakes to slow him down and couldn't do it quickly because he wasn't fully on the bike and it would have stopped before he did.
