OOR experience: I'm sure I'm not the only one who experienced this as a fan, but once you watch them live, you will be taken to another world for the next 2 to 3 hours. Even as the concert ended it still had that lingering out if this world experience. But the most important thing is, you will feel like you have some kind of personal connection with the boys, as if you've known them for so long. They will be like that friend you haven't seen for years, and you two had a catch up talk, and once it's over, you will miss them repeatedly. You will feel homesick. Not many artists can make you feel like this and One Ok Rock succeeds in doing so. They care for and adore their fans sincerely. Yes, I miss them, and I want to experience that special moment again.
I don't always wonder what it feels like to be in a concert, but when I watched one ok rock's live concerts, I suddenly felt the desire to go in one of their concert. Even though I was watching their live concerts in TH-cam, I feel like I'm there you know what I mean. It feels like I'm in there, so beautiful.
The One Ok Rock concert I watched earlier this year in Manchester was incredible. Obviously the crowd was no where near the size of the Japanese shows. But the energy they put into it was still 120%, honestly their performance is just so powerful. If you have the opportunity to see them live I would recommend it a million times over. Just incredible.
You're right. Their concert is so magical and I got so emotional that I cried. You can feel their passion from their music. Nobody's Home and Mighty Long Fall are also good. 😊
I went to one of their concerts earlier this year and was blown away. Taka can sing really well live. They have that charm that gives them that oomph like you know they are real musicians. I've been to a few rock concerts and One Ok Rock stand out. Tickets were probably $40 and it feels like a steal. I would def pay more than that.
You are absolutely right. ONE OK ROCK is one of the very few artists where their live videos actually get you pumped. Even so though, it doesn't compare to seeing them in person so definitely keep your eyes peeled for the next time they come near you. I recommend following their official accounts on Twitter (@oneokrock_japan) and Instagram (@oneokrockofficial) for The latest info. Check out Stand Out Fit In, both the MV and the orchestra version. Each are amazing in their own ways and you really need to watch both.
I've been to four concerts so far in Germany and they really never disappoint ! The crowd is much smaller than in Japan but the energy is the same 🔥💕 Some other songs: Wherever you are Memories Decision Stuck in the middle
This song in particular is so special to me. It was the first song I ever heard by OOR back in 2013. I was lucky enough to go to their Eye of the Storm tour this past spring to see them live. Someone else in the comments mentioned it’s like being taken to another world and they’re so right. You feel like you’ve been taken to some special place where it’s just you and the music. They’re captivating on stage. It was easily the best concert of my life and I’m not sure anything will ever be better. A popular local band called Waterparks was opening for them and I could tell a lot of the audience was there for them. However, once OOR got on stage, it didn’t seem to matter who we all came for, whether them or the other two opening bands. They’re such amazing performers and their music speaks to people regardless of their background or identity. It’s an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world.
You are 100% correct about their live performance. I was very fortunate to see them in 2019 during their Eye of the Storm tour, and it was easily my favorite concert I have ever attended. They are so incredibly good at bringing the audience into their songs and it honestly feels like a spiritual connection that you can rarely find anywhere else. I couldn't speak by the end of the concert because I had sung my heart and voice out. For anyone who is ever on the fence about getting a ticket to see them if they are in your area, even if they aren't your absolute favorite band, you have to go. Video recordings can't even come close to how this feels live.
I can agree with that. I've been to a OOR concert (Los Angeles) and it was a pretty good vibe. The crowd was into it and the band kept the energy up. I'm not a huge OOR fan but I enjoyed it.
A couple years ago I went to one of ONE OK ROCK's concerts in the US. It was in a small venue, waaaay smaller than what you see in that video. I was about 4 feet from the stage they performed on. Even in a smaller venue, being right there watching them perform is just amazing! So much energy from all of the members and Taka's voice sounds superb live. They performed Clock Strikes at the concert I went to and Taka held that long note for longer than in this video. I'm hoping they stop close to where I live again because I need to go to another of their concerts!
I went to their concerts 3 times, only that here in Latin America they play for less people (not more than 2-3k ) they were honestly the best concerts of my life, they were so close, takas voice is out of this world and the energy... just no words
I've seem them 3 times and they are absolutely amazing! This last year I got a VIP ticket and got to meet them and it was the best day of my life thus far. Always my favorite time of year when I see them. If you get a chance to see them definitely do it.
I saw them live three times and every each time it was an amazing experience. I honestly prefer their older albums much better, but after each show I always find myself liking the newer songs so much better than when I had only heard them recorded. Taka is an amazing singer and frontman, and all four of them have so much energy and talent that you can't not like them. Last time I went, last October, I brought a friend with me and at the end of the concert she asked me to take her again next tour 🤣
once the concert starts, feels like you want it to never end. a lot of emotions going inside of you that you just want to sing/scream/ bang your head with their songs. and love how they interact with the fans and how Taka manage the crowd when he sings-encouraging them to sing as well. seriously, they are best at live!
It’s my favorite song Their live always awesome Please check ending story live Yokohama arena It’s 2013 live (but it’s awesome) By the way you can check heartache (studio jam session) it’s different ONE OK ROCK
Japanese crowd is really the best, they're not the other fans who's put their phones up taking photos and pictures, they're enjoying the song with the performance.
I went to their show in March 2018 on their last leg for the Ambitions tour in Osaka. I can still hear Taka’s amazing vocals today. Such an amazing band doing amazing stuff.
I was lucky to go the their concert in Denver, CO earlier this year. Even in a small venue like the Gothic theater it feels like you’re a massive arena. It’s was absolutely amazing. I left in a state of lethargic melancholy. Taka is able to just draw the crowd into a trance
Their concerts are addictive, you must go! preferably in Japan. I watched them twice in HK, and twice in Japan. Tmr im gonna watch their Eye of the Storm tour in Saitama.
Ive been to 2 live shows with them in Houston both were different albums played and never regretted it! Such a amazing band been listening to them since 2005! Highly recommended any chance to see them live
You see people crying when they watch them. My friend was in tears the entire concert when we went. And I've seen them almost every time they come to the U.S.
I first saw them during their ambitions tour and was wowed. But when they came out for eye of the storm they were high energy and taka can REALLY sing. He’s actually trained and his entire family is in music. If you get a chance, go.
