Heartache is a very special song to me and I consider it as my 'first love' from ONE OK ROCK. The very first song I heard from this amazing band. The song that made me fall in love with ONE OK ROCK. I still remember the moment when I first heard this song. It was played at a gadget-store where I used to visit back then. I felt connected to this song upon hearing it and fell in love instantly with Taka's vocal as soon as I heard the chorus. Yes their music is magical~!
Personally I think Taka’s cover of Adele’s song Hello showcases his vocal ability better than this song does. But still this is a good song to react to. If you want to react to the cover Taka did it’s on the bands offical TH-cam channel. Also the guys are so much better at their live performances.

Be The Light song was wrote after the earthquake tragedy from years ago and I feel like the music video helps hammer in the song’s message. I also think it’s great that they added so many languages for the subtitles on that video so the song can reach as many people as it can. We Are 18 version is written for young adults because I believe at the time of writing the song Japan had just changed the legal (voting?) age to eighteen. And there was a tv program that had more than a thousand eighteen year olds send in videos of their goals in life or just their struggles so far, things of that sort. One ok rock was asked to pick a thousand and just from watching all the kids’ videos they were inspired to write that song for them, which the kids’ got to help them sing. I’m pretty sure I’m missing some things that someone will correct me on but that’s the gist of it.

You should try Taka's younger brother Hiro's band My First Story. They are also incredible. The songs Alone, Missing You, and Reviver are awesome. thought All their songs are pretty amazing. I saw them in concert here in Japan last year.
