In the late 1950's and 60's our local TVs repair man claimed that before he retired his job was r&d of colour TVs he also predicted that by the end of the century TVs would use leds powered by a matrix and would be flat and hang on the wall like a picture and that true blue would be the hardest to obtainHe died in 1969.
