I know there must be a way to invert the smart vectors so you can stabilise the plate but for the life of me I cannot figure it out!

Is there an HD version on this video? Also my vector distort stretches out the target image and the colors don't work well even when I use a curvetool to cature the screen color grade.

i really need help with the masking part. i cant seem to find the next part of the video and i really hope you could help me out a bit! how do i roto something thats in the way that i would like smartvector to ignore? for exmaple a moving object in the foreground is messing up my vector. i did a roto to remove the alpha of the moving object before rendering out my smartvector but that didnt work =(

34:39 What are those expressions doing please ?

The expressions I am using in this video is used to create a hard edge where the roto alpha blur was, so that I can use the following EdgeBlur node to perform an edge extend. If you're interested in the workflow, then the exact steps to recreate that setup are as follows:
      1. Read in footage
      2. Create a Roto node and clean the area you want to perform the tattoo removal on using clone shapes (in the example we are using several bezier shapes with feathering and translating the pixel data using the Clone tab and changing the translate values. To do this it is important that you set the source in the Shape tab to 'foreground')
      3. Create a second Roto node and create a roto shape around the tattoo you wish to remove and animate throughout the shot. Set the output to be alpha as this will become your clean texture alpha (in this example we are clipping to format and checking on the 'replace' option)
      4. Create an Expression node and in the alpha channel (so set channels 'rgb' to 'none' and the alpha which is by default 'none' to 'rgba.alpha') and in the = box enter 'a>0'
      - the purpose of this to create a hard edge where the roto alpha blur was, so that we can then use the EdgleBlur node below to perform an edge extend
      5. Create an EdgeBlur node and blur the edges again
      Hope that helps,
      Chris
