Congratulations! Yes they are getting very hard to find in any condition, much less all original. I really wanted an EBP, but I am pretty happy with this this one so far despite its imperfections.
It’s funny Honda put such wide tires on the new 2022 civic sport I looked at the other day.. you don’t even need spacers with the 235/40 r18s also the new design almost pops the wheels out.. from the back bumper to the side sills.. you have to look at it up close to see
I purchased one of these in very good shape last year. You will find that many parts are discontinued and very hard to find. The airbox being one. It is a tedious process finding certain pieces.
i had that problem with my quick release setup. the problem is with the hub. your brain wants to center the nrg logo but by doing that the wheel itself will be cock eyed. if you slight angle the hub it will solve that problem. Just a tip if you havent figured it out yet. it bugged the shit out of me when i first installed my setup in my 8th gen 2 years back
Thanks but I took the entire thing out and replaced it with a clean oem wheel. The steering column was bent too which didn't help. If I get another aftermarket wheel in the future it won't be deep corn type like this one. The position wasn't comfortable for me.
Sadly i need to sell mine soon. Had it for 10 years but need to make room for the family car. What ballpark you think I should sell for? 1999 Civic si w/194K miles, all stock, no mechanical issues. Exterior paint and interior all pretty decent/good. Timing belt done at 115K, within last couple years replaced clutch, shocks/struts, tires.
It depends, and it's hard to day without seeing it but I've see them going for $6k-$9k based on condition. Check what is fs on the marketplace and price it accordingly based on what you see. Goodluck!
I believe they are 5mm spacers, not sure what brand, they came on the car already. Seem to work just fine so far, I've had no issues but I'm not really pushing the car, just regular street driving.
@fixthisone nope no issues at all. I have removed the spacers to run other aftermarket wheels with a lower offset (+35) directly to the hub. Everything ran straight and smooth. 👍

Yes I am running into some of those issues already with certain pieces. It's the sad reality with these cars being 20+ years old now...
I have 98 Civic ex and I mostly find hard parts on the internet. I found one website that sells only Honda parts.

So that original transmission? Or you replace with remanufactured transmission or a rebuilt transmission
