Amber was remarkably calm almost the entire time. I know Hazel hated not being able to feed Amber before the trip to the vet.
And poor Jullien still has carrier anxiety.

Amber is so beautiful and gentle. She didn't even growl to the vet or scratch them. Even when she greet her daughters, she's so calm. Hopefully she'll recover soon.

Good job Amber and Hazel. The inflammed tooth must have been painful, so extraction was the best. Lucky it was only one tooth. Hopefully all the other kitties teeth stay healthy.

Ah ~ as a hooman, I've only got 1 time of X-ray done to my teeth & that's for my wisdom tooth surgery! 😂
For the 1st 2 minutes I was like "WHY Superstar Mommy behaved so well & nice despite in hunger? She REALLY didn't lash out at Childish Daddy? 🤔 Or... was it edited out? 😋" and there it happened at 2:51! 🤣🤣🤣

The sound that Amber made at 5:06 - 5:11 reminded me the sound that Ddofy Goofy made when he was in the same casing after neutered. They sounded like crying or howling (cat's howl? 😅)

My cat's had that too. It can't be fun. First breakfast is not served and then a car ride to the Vet of all places! And then they they don't get their preferred food when they get home and are finally given breakfast! Poor kitty!

oh i'm so glad Amber is ok, it broke my heart seeing her after the tooth surgery, the anesthetic can be dangerous sometimes, and her movement was uncoordinated, poor little baby begging for food, such a sweet and good kitty ! xoxoxo

I know it’s only temporary fasting for checkups, but it always breaks my heart when I see a kitty having to skip her meal and not know why. 😭
I’m so happy to see Amber well-fed when she’s home. If she prefers dry food to wet food, maybe soak the dry food in water to soften it for her to eat after her dental treatment? Just a thought. 😁
It looked as though the dry food was soaked in water.
Soaking it in milk would be another option:)
