Just came back from the Alamo in LA for the first time. Excellent theater just like you said even if it’s a little small and on the pricey side after food and your ticket. Food was great for movie theater snacks and even ordered that pretzel with jalapeno cheddar and a pizza. One tip I want to add though is that you can get your parking validated. Just go up to the clerk and ask for validation and they will point you out to the machine that does it. It ended up being $6 for 3 hours after validation so I was glad I didn’t have to pay the full $30. I will definitely be going back. Hope you make a part 2 to this video because there are many more movie theaters here in LA that make me glad that I live here. 😄
Out of all the movie theaters you showcased, the best one for me is closed till further notice....The Cinerama Dome! Then all the rest fall behind that one on my list.
@9:09 Excellent video. One thing I would like to clarify about AMC CityWalk. Show your parking ticket to the cashier of the theater to have it reimbursed. You won't get a full reimbursement back but they'll give you $25 in cash so you end up paying $5 in parking. Buying a movie ticket though is manditory to get the cash. Not bad when your experiencing one of the biggest IMAX screens in Southern California.
Quick question about TLC Chinese Theater and El Capitan Theatre. You didn't mention the price of parking for TLC Chinese and $3 at El Capitan Theater on your cost section. Does that mean your parking was validated for those theaters?
This video was great. Please do another one!
Soonish!
Great video Jay! Glad to see the legend Randy again
Alamo: no phones because it’s distracting
Also Alamo: let me deliver food to you throughout the whole movie
amazing video ! need more theatre vids please
I’m thinking of doing another one

Yeah, if I remember right it's $3 validated for the first three hours
I can remember when even chewing gum was not allowed in theatres. Now anything goes...sad!
Great Cliff Booth shirt
Thank you!
Sent another comment to your e-mail. Tried posting it on here twice but it's doesn't seem to be showing up.
