I have a 2021 tag xl boondock that I bought about 1.5 months ago and I took it on a 2.5 week camping trip up to Michigan. I’m in Cincinnati Ohio area which was about a 500 to 550 one way trip. My Subaru pulled it great. On my trip there was 2 different things I didn’t like about it. Now remember I am 63 years of age. First thing I didn’t like was it was hard but doable was changing clothes in it which I found a 5 by 7 tent that actually seals around the door as long as you have the little kit for around the door that looks like a J channel and the tent actually seals around the door so no bugs or rain can get in. I just got this tent yesterday so have not tried it yet but watch a few videos on it. The tent will serve as a place to change clothes plus in middle of the night you can use a bucket to go to the bathroom in. Win win with the tent. And the second thing I didn’t like was the two 3 inch foam mattresses that come in it for a bed. But I have a foldable cot that I have used in the past quite a few times and it is comfortable. So will take them mattresses out and put the cot in there and yes it does fit perfectly in there. Plus the benefits with the cot that it will give you more storage area under the cot.
But other than the 2 things I loved camping in mine and already looking for a couple places out west to go next year when I get my vacation time. Over the next 3 years I will have everything paid for and I plan on going completely to the nomadic lifestyle.
Also there is a way you can set up a tankless hot water heater on the side and you can take a shower in a 4 by 4 canopy with walls I have. Life will be good in a teardrop.
I have one of those changing tents too and have used it to put in a portable toilet and shower station. I stacked both mattress up which helped but agree the mattresses aren’t too great.

CAN they TOLERATE the EXISTENCE of GOD? IF I were to ENTER the SYNAGOGUES NOW to PREACH and GIVE a SERMON to PEOPLE, WOULDN'T I have been CRUSHED LONG AGO? And if that happens, how can My work continue to be carried out? The reason why signs and wonders are not revealed openly is to cover up. SO My WORK CANNOT be SEEN, KNOWN or DISCOVERED by UNBELIEVERS. 🙏☀️
If this phase of work were to be done in the same way as Jesus' in the Age of Grace, it would not be as strong as it is today. So, working stealthily in this way benefits both you and the business as a whole. When GOD'S WORK on EARTH COME to the END, that is, when this secret WORK is FINISHED, this phase of WORK WILL BE REVEALED. EVERYONE KNOWS there is a group of WINNERS in CHINA; EVERYONE WILL KNOW that GOD INCARNATED is in CHINA and His WORK has COME to COMPLETION. Only then will it be clear to people: Why has China not yet shown a decline or collapse? It APPEARS that GOD is PERSONALLY DOING His WORK in CHINA and has PERFECTED a GROUP of PEOPLE as OVERCOMERS. 🙏

This is a great camper. How did you like it?
Hey @barbshubert9667...there were definitely pros/cons. The biggest pro was how lightweight it was and VERY easy to pull. I felt like I didn't have anything hooked up. It was really quiet inside as well. For more of an offroad style trailer though, I didn't think the quality held up. There wasn't even latch/tie downs to keep things in place and the intake vents for the AC were actually positioned right above the wheel wells so on dirt roads the dust would actually go up through the vents into the trailer. I think room for lots of improvements.
You rent the trailer, but did you already have your car equiped with a hook ?

YUP!!!! So it'll be a roadtrip + camping video. My base weight is about 1200lbs 😂

I think total mileage is 8400 miles? Round trip. So my efficiency will be excellent.
