Sooo glad Tycho is getting some recognition here! His song “A Walk” (which came out 9 years ago) is probably straight up one of my favorite songs of all time! I encourage you guys to listen to it if you haven’t heard it yet.
First time watching one of your videos and had a couple thoughts. 1. Melano + Rootkit - i agree it was a bit underwhelming but considering this is a return to Melano's project with a more edm-centric sound since 2016-2017 (discounting his release from 2023), I'm interested to see what he can do especially if it means trying to define a new sound and break away from his traditional roots kind of like what cloudnone did. 2. Dimension + Sub Focus + Nghtmre - while I agree nghtmre's sound isn't as present, I still think this is a massive track. Amazing vocals work, it's catchy, and absolutely pops off live. It sounds like dimension did a lot of he heavy lifting on this track. 3. Reaper - Totally agree this track is huge. It's definitely been a weaker year for Reaper and hoping this track can set the tempo for future releases.
Am I the only one who thinks that "Tangerine Rays" should've been a single over "Lucky"? I was gonna say over "Out of Time", too, but I get that is the classic ZEDD sound and that it sets the tone for the album. But in the case with "Lucky", I think "Tangerine Rays" is catchier, more of a bop, and I think just a little bit of a more rounded song. "Lucky" is still good, but I feel like it's the poster boy for the people who say that the drop doesn't match the elevation of the pre-drop.
i feel like with the jon hopkins album, picking out a singular track feels kinda weird considering the whole album is kinda meant to be listened to as a whole
One More in last is criminal. And to say it doesn’t sound any them when Carry Me Away and a good chuck of rootkit’s bitbird album exists is kinda just wrong. It’s a very mello track and would even put it near standout.
Brat Summer is Over
We are now in Telos Autumn LESSS GOOOO

Can’t wait for the turqdeath album, you should do a reaction to it when it drops!
The Zedd album was so good, my favorite one of it is probably descensus though but the ellis collab is so good too

I don't think the tracks in each group are in any particular order.
I don't get the hype for the Gas Pedal remix. Love all of the artists on the track but it is way too short. 2:30 "Extended mix" is such a joke
Agreed. It's good but definitely needed one more build up and drop to feel like a full song.
