The changes are obviously welcoming but I was expecting to see more of Aang's past and the wiping out of air nomads. At least 1 episode dedicated for it would have given ample time for the build up. It felt like it was rushed.
Characterisation of main characters honestly didn't work out for me. And there is no suspense at all in the writing. Everything was just direct and linear.
Apart from these, rest all looks good.
Without animation comparison, as series it is top notch
