I was really scared over some personal things that had happened to me a while ago, and so I was feeling really unwell, trying not to cry in front of other people because I was staying over in the living room of someone’s house. I was listening to music and drawing to try to calm down, then I heard this song for the first time, and it made me feel so much better. This song and Wyatt’s other songs have just really helped me a ton when I’m feeling down :))

i think hes talking about his early days back when he would play bass at the skatepark with fletcher bc if u look back in The Life and Times of a Paper Clip era (2012-2013) he would literally jump around and go off stage and go crazy. so when he says "I miss doing it right, I miss being ur dancer" what if he's talking about THAT. This is his dream but he misses "doing it right."
