Nice one.. Statistics and Machine learning are the best topics to discuss before Deep learning. Most of the time interview was based in Deep learning but this one was good.

@Ronit ganguly Do you really know what AIC and BIC do or are you just using throwing some statistical jargons? There is no such thing as Academica clustering or industrial clustering.
@Ronit ganguly Regarding your comment about AIC/BIC, they are not just specific to Clustering but for any model that you want to check how informative they are. Yes, Silhuette is specific to clustering but it is highly biased to cluster shape and has other challenges too. By the way, in my original comment, I asked this question to "Sudhanshu" (read again) because he seems to be over-confident with his knowledge about clustering when he clearly doesn't know fundamentals.
@@ashutoshkarna3411 Hi, Ashutosh! I have just started learning about clustering and its algorithms. It would be really helpful if you could tell me more about the evaluation metric for a clustering algorithm or rather unsupervised algorithms like clustering. Thanks!
@@ranitradas4264 That totally depends on which algorithm you are going to use. Gap statistic and Calinski-Harabasz both are good measures when you know nothing about the shape (or the clusters are not spherical in nature) like hierarchical clustering one. The right measure depends on your ultimate goal of the clustering.
I'm mechanical engineering graduate without any working experience .I want to start my career in Data Science. I'm learning DS for 3months .How do I get the job ??
Hello Sundhanshu, Krish you guys are doing great work. Question for I don't have experince of data scienece but having 8 yrs of experience in mvc.net. if switch to data science will my salary get impacted (less)?
Hi Krish & Sudhanshu sir, I would be finishing my Masters in CS in few months and currently working on my Thesis, i would like to participate in the online interview.
Guys, you might end up jobless if you choose data science career now as there so many people experienced in this field (with 5+ years). All the jobs in data science, nowadays require experienced people. Have a thought about it and go through the company's career portal, you will understand!

He had used random forest in production but he don't even know random forest is better than decision tree. Apart from that what sudhansu sir was asking regarding cluster and what he was answering totally irrelevant

My question to Sudhanshu: How would you find an evaluation metric to check the "accuracy" for k-means algorithm?
@@astrovastu101 Are you sure that an unsupervised learning algorithm can be assigned an "accuracy" score? Get your basics right.
