That crane operation is more like a ballet with you Reon. What a delicate operation. Tip of the hat to August for his contribution. You keep nicking birdhouses and I'm going to have to send you a tube of caulking. Incredible job guys. Beautiful production.
I’ve been climbing in the MonkeyBeaver saddle for a few months now. The only time that I’m not in pain is when I’m up a tree. It’s the best decision I’ve made for my back. They are working on an advanced setup for a future saddle so give them a call before you order one online. Thank you for another great one.
You are our heroes. Thank you for making it so we can sleep at night and not worry about the next windstorm. Hearing Spencer saying that crack was flexing even after some of the load was off made my stomach lurch. The bird house was coming down anyway. Birds never used it, and that fence that got shoved by the tree is going to get re-done.
When you are intentional and deliberate, precision follows… class act boys! Thanks for another awesome production Reon! Look forward to the next job you find worthy for us. I’m up for watching normal tree removals by you guys haha
I love the effort that is put into the cinematography and music as well as ALWAYS fascinating work. I can't imagine many companies in your area can compete with that, it seems with your equipment you are more specialized and they likely refer you for some jobs.
Pro tip for Treemotion users: switch the leg loops from left to right so the buckles are inside. This allows you to step through the bridge and clip the leg loops on.
Interesting mixture of properties in that area - tend to think that everything in America is like Dallas (oops showing my age but then again, it did have Joan Collins!) love the grapple on your knuckle boom - I've rented a Fassi 42 Mtr just for uplifting materials - ours was limited to 1.5tonnes (metric) at full swing. Can your outriggers extend further or is what we saw as far as they go?
Excellent video Reon !!!! Spencer seems great and did good job !! Thing's were tight with that darn wire right through the middle, great job !! Love watchin that Tree-Mek work with her reach an capacity, that would've been a nightmare without it over all those yards. Can't wait to retire my antique for a new MB saddle. Thank you for the show 😉
Happy day after Easter 🐣! Another great video Reon ! Excellent audio & camera work. Yur climer Spencer did great job too. Also comparison of saddle/harness MB & other was interesting...'Ole August Hunakie will be proud to see & hear these comments! Now Reon, you gotta take time & video that super crane you use, Palfinger...it's different...kinda articulated... than AH's telescopic boom. So show us that fancy, foldable, twistable, weight measurable, grapple-grabable, heavy-liftable crane-majic-able machine of yours! Thx for showing all us YT viewers your work! Very impressive!👍👍👍⚙🚜🌲🙂
I think Joe Boyd deserves a shout out for the Monkey Beaver saddle , certainly a collaboration with August and the team but Joe does a lot of the R&D and has a great attention to detail .
Have u ever seen Taylor tree care in Tulsa? It is just a small paw and son operation with 1 helper and his job is to do all the climbing if the bucket truck can’t reach it but he runs the bucket truck. The son is the brush/chipper guy and paw runs the 160 foot knuckle boom/ground dog. Can u tell us what in the ballpark u pay a climber
Any chance you could put a camera on one of the guys that works the chipper in other words the ground crew thanks love the videos but hate the time-lapse
Near impossible for the other tree video guys to compete with your equipment especially since Jacob went free lance. Such a clean job and performance. If anyone had one question it would be is this tree safe to remove without maybe first tying the stems together and box them in until weight is taken off to prevent break out. Split crotches were pretty severe for climber to attach to without it.
Love your videos and would love to support you and your crew reon!!! Are u going to do merch? T-shirts, sweatshirts and stuff like that just wanted to know, have a great day!
I know the crane you have the equipment you have is amazing but I wish sometimes you didn't have it so I could watch you climb and learn from you but I know it saves a lot of time and work congratulations on everything you have that's amazing buddy God bless stay safe
He told my boss “those knuckle booms are ok if you’re a shitty climber”! Then not too long after here’s Reon drinking the knuckle boom koolaide “welcome to the shitty climbers club!” Lol! I’m mostly familiar working with stick cranes, not super huge ones either around 35 ton 105ft stick type action but now I get to work with one of these knuckle booms almost every day and I really am loving it! It’s a little bit of a slower process getting used to the differences between the 2 cranes but I like the extra versatility the knuckle boom offers!
He mentioned better back support on the monkey beaver, you pointed out the "floppiness" of the tree motion. you also said your guy has barley used his monkey beaver saddle. I feel like that's "broken in" vs a "new" feature.
Reon, what makes you use a climber in this case? As opposed to just using the grapple with the entire tree, without a climber. Is it because you can do bigger picks with the slings?
that must be a older model monkey beaver than the newest one, i just got a new monkey beaver harness middle of march and my d rings are two to three times the size as the one in the review. still they are not the size as the treemotion but good luck finding a place that sells just the treemotion dz, and if you do let me know. i placed my order for the monkey beaver harness feb 2nd and it arrived march 16th. 8 weeks per website
I have treemotion light for everyone on our crew, but I'm going all-in on the Monkeybeaver for spar work...my back is still sore from our last takedown.
Ok question I've never climbed with suspenders or know anyone who has. Does it take the load off anywhere else or is it just for helping hold the saddle up
What are your thoughts on green "safety" chains vs regular yellow links? I see you running yellow, and my local saw guy claims that green is faster. Just thought I'd ask the pro tree guy. Love the video dude, keep up the good work 💪.
Don’t foresee green being faster when it has double the rakers so in a scientific way that’s more resistants going and passing through the wood. Just like skip chain seems to be the easier faster chain on light bars that are longer. Less drag equals 🟰 faster cutting! Just what I’ve been taught but could be completely wrong 😑
Thanks guys. I'm aware of the difference in design, just wanted to here mostly about speed. And the green takes longer to get well sharpened because there's more metal. Nice to have other opinions!
You can't punch cut with green safety chain that's the biggest thing I have against it but yes it is definitely slower cutting than yellow chain and all I run is skip chain even on 25" bars takes too long to sharp and full comp chain when u sharpen 2 or 3 saws every day
I almost bought the he monkey beaver but I ended up with h the treemotion lite version I did slap some #monkkeybeaver suspenders on it tho and it’s so nice n comfortable when ya have a big saw hanging off ya!!
I used my identifier on my phone and it said that was a white ash tree. I tried multiple shots at different intervals and i got the same result each time. I'm not saying you're wrong, but this identifier hasn't been wrong yet. I just want to know what the tree is, I'm trying to get better for myself. For you it doesn't really matter cause no matter what the species, it's a money tree lol. Also, no disrespect meant. If anyone knows for certain please let me know.
I think Reon changed the name because he was never a part of the "Monster Tree" franchise...he used to put a disclaimer in the vids but better to just change the name, and Reon Rounds is such a cool name for a tree guy!

I learned the "tilt back cut" from another of your videos and use it all of the time now. Thanks 👍.
Awesome 😁😁
"Oh no, the bird house"
I’m a die-hard August fan, but this is definitely becoming my favorite channel!
Love the content brother 🔥

Nice work Reon looked like a fun job! Stay safe and keep the chips flying! Thanks for sharing!
The knowledge and equipment, you guys are true pros. Always enjoy your videos.
Mb saddle was one of the best investments iv made.

I think Joe Boyd deserves a shout out for the Monkey Beaver saddle , certainly a collaboration with August and the team but Joe does a lot of the R&D and has a great attention to detail .
When I grow up, I wanna be just like you. Your crane skills are amazing!

With a good crew the right equipment you can almost make it look easy, your a class act Reon
I've bought two monkey Beaver harnessed in the last 5 years 6 years I'll never go back best harnessed I've ever wore in my life.
Hell yeah! Monkey beaver brothers united local union #201
That knuckle boom is slick, especially for long horizontal picks.
Any chance you could put a camera on one of the guys that works the chipper in other words the ground crew thanks love the videos but hate the time-lapse
Excellent job as always, August should be happy about your promotion
I have to ask. Will you be putting an insurance claim in for the birdhouse? Thanks for the video and Monkey Beaver for the win!
What is the stiffened DIY loop on his Rope Runner Pro used for?

awwww....no heart :-(
You have all that high dollar gear out there and I’m drooling over the old FL chip truck.
Congratulations on your oncoming anniversary 😂😂😂.
How often do woodworkers ask or purchase the trunks from your projects?
Who makes your crane slings, are they in house?
Love your videos and would love to support you and your crew reon!!! Are u going to do merch? T-shirts, sweatshirts and stuff like that just wanted to know, have a great day!

*yes Im aware he sold/or is selling the knuckle boom.
@@Joshman5000 pretty sure your employer is the only one in the area with one as well.
* also I’m a self proclaimed shitty climber.
@@Joshman5000 bahaha your getting it done buddy

Love when I can set up in a parking lot. 👌🏽
Thanks for the great Easter Monday surprise 😍
Reon, what makes you use a climber in this case? As opposed to just using the grapple with the entire tree, without a climber. Is it because you can do bigger picks with the slings?
Reon! The Attorney for The Robins HOA called. Wants to know if you got insurance!
I’m just amazed by the calm cool demeanor that y’all display ! Outstanding job!👍🏻👍🏻💯💯
As always great video.. I am sure August will love it.
Awesome job and perfect video brother 👏 👌 👍

Did you get the loading crane separate from your dump truck?
I have treemotion light for everyone on our crew, but I'm going all-in on the Monkeybeaver for spar work...my back is still sore from our last takedown.
Saw sounds like its got plenty of torque in the cut.
Was that a bud light or Pepsi in the avant
Just an all around good 👍 video. Keep up the good 😊 work. Thanks 🙏
Ok question I've never climbed with suspenders or know anyone who has. Does it take the load off anywhere else or is it just for helping hold the saddle up

Green is a safety chain double rakers (low kickback chain) compared to the yellow chain single rakers (more aggressive kickback)

Plunge cut lol damn spell check
Is that a powerline running through the tree?
Avant comes stock with the cookies?
Not climbin anymore. But mate won a monkey beaver. An when waiting for crane or groundys. Said was very comfy. Thanks
How do u transport your merlo to the jobs?
He bought a purple kenworth dump truck to pull the merlo on a tag trailer. Showed the truck in a video not long ago.
I thought that was for the avant
Great work Reon
You could just film it all and we'll decide if it's cool enough to watch... It will be.
16:01 so smooth!!!
Why don’t either one of the belts have a dedicated place for a pistol
I almost bought the he monkey beaver but I ended up with h the treemotion lite version I did slap some #monkkeybeaver suspenders on it tho and it’s so nice n comfortable when ya have a big saw hanging off ya!!

Nice vid...you have all the toys!!!
I thought it was illegal/unsafe for a person the ride the crane ball? Not being a jerk, genuine question, it certainly looks fun!
Good team and equipment.
Merry Christmas
Wish that crane was mine.

Lol totally over kill with the crane, bet it was 15k job that 3 Mexicans would taking down for 500 bucks lol
so you’re no longer apart of the “monster” franchise and now you’re your own company, when did you do that?!..
I think Reon changed the name because he was never a part of the "Monster Tree" franchise...he used to put a disclaimer in the vids but better to just change the name, and Reon Rounds is such a cool name for a tree guy!
Beaver 🦫 for the win. 🏆 ✌️ 💪
Second that on all accounts...
