One of the heads for RRHOF Jann Wenner, despises the band.
He's had it in for Styx ever since their old manager Derek Sutton, stopped allowing them to do press conferences in the 1970's. And Wenner is also head of Rolling Stone Magazine...

Speaking of appreciating. Last week you played a video of 15 year old Steve Winwood. A day or two later a friend of mine was sharing that video to his son who is in a heavy metal band. I have not seen this guy in five years when he came to see me at the funeral home when my mother passed. I have known him for around 37 years. So I responded to that Facebook post saying: "You watch Jamel aka Jamal too?" He said:" Love him... just be a good human." I replied: "Be Humble, Be kind, Sread Joy, Peace & LOVE." He is in Virginia and I am in South Carolina. I just want you to know you are doing something great and I love that. I also think it is great that two old friends have something in common without even knowing it. Thank you.

Crushed on? Really? The "steamroller" hasn't done anything of note with mass appeal in over 20 years since they fired Dennis, who (besides actually founding the band with the Panozzo bros) was unquestionably the leader & provided the signature sound of Styx. Freakin' Larry Gowan and his gimmicky spinning keyboard are a joke. Nothing but a karaoke cover band with bad plastic surgery anymore. Dennis DeYoung however, is actually still making really good original music.

Good stuff! Your music reaction channel is the best IMO. Your motto of “keep great music alive” is what you’re about, you’re not making about yourself. You listen to the song, don’t say how much you liked it or disliked it you just talk about what you heard/saw; make good comments, some funny, some thoughtful and some emotional. I dig it, keep up the good work.

Just now discovering this video. Fun fact about this song: Shaw wrote this song about Dennis DeYoung actually. DDY was getting extremely jaded with how the band was going. Despite starting to gain stardom and notoriety, DDY didn't believe he was that good of a singer/Songwriter. Shaw wrote this song to basically tell DDY 'Dude, you are great and this band will go far!' Later on, Shaw stated he also saw himself in this song as well. Secondly, this album was the start of the four triple platinum albums in a row for Styx. Enjoy!
