As an expat Kiwi of 20 years living overseas and currently deciding where in NZ I want to move back to in order to raise my young family, your channel is really helping me out alot. I remember Feb/Mar are the best months to visit NZ due to its weather and I see you really getting lucky with the bluest of the blue skies in Marlborough Sounds and the greenest of the green grass in Picton. Your AirBNB house architecture is fantastic and is something I would like to build as well. Great video's guys and keep up the good work. Looking forward to the rest of your travels to help me shortlist my favourite towns to live.

I'm a Kiwi from Blenheim living the last 13 years in Australia, and Picton is part of our playground; countless trips for fishing, fish & chips and ice-cream ... We have just begun talking about moving back and living in the Marlborough Sounds, so have been watching as many vids as possible because we're missing the scenery sooooo much! I can't wait to get back and enjoy it all again, but with much more appreciation for what we had and left but never really "saw" it!❤
Just came across your channel, great travel adventures. Those little fantail birds like to follow people and they catch all the tiny insects that we disturb while walking along
Nice video. Went to Picton a couple of times when I was a kid for the U16 cross country fun run. Our coach from Wellington was friends with one of the ferry captains and got to go on the bridge and life boat deck. It is a 3 hour trip on the ferry. It only takes 45 mins to fly from Wellington to Auckland and 1 hour 20 mins from Wellington to Queenstown (Airbus A320).
Love your videos, that little bird on your walk was a Fantail and they always usually come close to you on walks and Possums are a MAJOR pest in New Zealand and can desimate at forest. It you see a big bare batch of dead trees in a forest, that's Possums. Hope you guys enjoy it here.
