Wow, now I know what all the fuss is about with these Peacocks. The rich and vibrant colors are amazing, and if I didn't know any better I would swear they were saltwater fish. I imagine they even look better in person. It was good to see you back in your fish room, it feels like it's been a long time lol. Thanks for the video.

Your tanks are beautiful your water is crystal clear the glass is very clean no air bubbles no particles in the water just a great job you should make a video on have you keep your water so clear and tank clean great job keep it up
How much did those 3 fish cost? I'm going to add 3 fish to my tank on Tuesday. I bought the 7 I have now from Petco I want to go to a fish shop they have nicer fish.
@@videogazer801 55 gallons is not big if you are going to keep any Lake Malawi Cichlids, I have a 75 for the much smaller Cichlids from Lake Tanganyika and I sometimes think it's too small.
@@videogazer801one really big problem is feeding them bloodworms . Stay away from those and bug bites. Good luck my friend overstocking is best with Africans as well to limit aggressions
Aye man I just lost over 15 African cichlids do to my Banded Leporinous. I got him when he was about 2 and half inches thinking my full grown show quality African cichlids could hold there own, and they did at first but when my Leporinous got bigger around 7 inches he gotten more aggressive and started sucking the eye balls out of my cichlids. I think you will be fine for now but when he gets bigger there a problem. Thought I’d let you know cause cichlids ain’t the cheapest fish, and I just recently went thru this I’m starting over with some baby peacocks I got yesterday.
Word of caution from experience with having a leporinus in the tank keep an eye on him once he gets eyes on him he can be a big bully and also terrorize all your other fish in the tank
Dude if you throw in like 2 Amano shrimp into that endler tank they will clean up all that hair algae in no time and keep it at bay. I have found they will everything except black beard.

I love that ob
Just wondering if you could help me out with a list of cichlid fish I can put in my new 55 g..I’ll add the ones you have and what else to add?
I'd u want to do african cichlids like what I got in the video then u could do like a sunshine, dragonblood, German red, an ob
That place look like they had some nice cichlids
You have some nice tanks but you should consider a much larger tank for the African Peacock Cichlids, a nice 125 gallon or larger
Why? He has a 55G and that’s a big tank

Awesome 👍
Are they really really good?
wwhat sand do you use
How are the fish doing now? I’m looking at doing a 55 gallon cichlid tank
Half of them have died

Trust me I’m well aware of how they can get, this video was a while back and he’s now up around 6 or 7 inches and doesn’t really bother anyone
Does your shop ship and are there any ruby red peacocks?
No we don't ship
what filter you using
Penguin 400 and 350
Are they hybrids or naturals?
They seems insane colorful to be true
These peacocks when I got them were enhanced with hormones
Hey if possible make a tour video of your aquarium shop where you work.
I already have
@@PFFishing surely I'll watch that video
I want that OB 😩

What’s the name of the fish store
Wet pets

I dont have any hair algae in that tank
That was supposed to say once he gets size on him he can be a very big Terror of the tank and Bully your other fish
Tank needs more caves and hiding spots.
Na I made it like that for reason however recently I added another peice of driftwood to it
Do you have any oscars?? Personally my favourite fish
More peacock cichlid buying vids pelaseeee
And remember that leporinus can get much larger than those fish can get
I'm first
It is always good to let your blood worms unthaw.
It's just a preference there's nothing wrong with throwing the whole cube in there
That is not moss, it is algae omg !
Nope that is not hair algae that is in fact some type of moss, the texture is different from algae and flying foxes won't eat it
Be careful with that crayfish and your frontosa's.
The cichlids will eat then small fish
Yea i know
The fish are cool, but man your tank is so boring.
Go look at the tank now
