Mine had oil in it i opened it up to check after because there was a drip onto the box from it sitting on trailer i will pin this as a notice for people to check theirs I should of included that in the video 💪 thanks
@MrBallinBalls i did some more research online….seemed from the little I could find your on the right track! It’s odd they don’t mention it…..maybe on purpose😂
My first job out of high school was running the Whacker plate on a asphalt crew fixing roads and building driveways, this brings back memories of hot hard work days. Stay elevated Nick Pixel ✌️ ❤️
Thanks for the review. I had rented a plate compactor to do so touch up on a gravel driveway to see how it would work. I'd never used one before. The gravel was originally laid with a vibrating roller but it had started to get loose in a few places. I rented one of these to see how it would do repairing those spots. Did a pretty good job. I decided to buy one and use it to maintain my driveway. I was looking at buying this exact unit. You've helped make the decision for me.
Did you pick it up. Mine is still working well at our camp. I have more projects for it here soon and surely in spring. Thanks for spending time on a comment here
Glad you found some value hopefully coupon works. Machine works well when I have it but have had 2 people borrow it already. Hopefully it comes back soon. lol Gotta help the neighbors :-)
My exciter drive came empty as well. 17mm socket for the plug. I used John Deere hy-gard till it ran out. No mention of this drive other than the exploded parts list in the back of the manual. It’s just a few bearings- I’m guessing anything is better than nothing… just something else to check out of the box🤔
Hey, hopefully you haven't already answered something similar, but how do you think it would do on a out 4 inches of 3/4 minus? Going to be putting in a gazebo and want to lay down rock before I pour the pad.
How steep of a hill can you run that on? I'm curious because our gravel driveway has a section with an incline and I'm wondering if this would handle that.
Take a pipe cut a slot that will accommodate the top of the oil and drill a hole in the other end and put a rod in the otherside with the hole. Makes quick, easy work just make sure it's started correctly
I just got one too, the vibrator oil up front came empty, did yours come with oil in it?

What oil does it call for? Looked in the manual and can’t find
@@AlexLincoln-oz2uz I used the same as the engine, full synthetic 10w30

Thank you okami! Appreciate you
I swear they print those receipts with disappearing ink, all the stores do it not just them. Looks like a solid unit.
Lol the back side if it with disclosures was good 😁
Spray the receipt with rustoleum clear coat
If it's Thermal transfer paper heat is the enemy

The wheels you could switch out for rubber tires at blains farm and fleet and maybe Menards to have beefier ones
Nice video, lots of information
Thank you MWO
