@@ToneJunkieTV Do they (IK Multimedia) have the infrastructure for a marketplace? Is the Tonex hardware player "vapor ware"? I'm seriously considering ditching my Kemper for a Tonex-Laptop-interface setup and pedals. Do you think the Kemper will become unmarketable with the tonal leap that Tonex represents? I think without a doubt that some Tonex captures sound "better" than my Kemper. Tonex seems to solve my only complaint about the Kemper. My complaint is that the Kemper seems to add a low-mid bump and attenuate the highs and lows of an amp sound. It just seems the Kemper loses resolution in the lows and highs and maybe that makes it appear to have a low mid-range bump. I really like everything else about the Kemper (modulations could be better, but they're good). Anyway, thought I would suggest some topics for next week.
Definitely do not feel bad about having to charge people for you time, effort, and expertise. You earn that money! With that said - I am now following you on the app and will definitely send you a tip for every “keeper” preset I end up downloading from you. I was a long time customer with your kemper stuff, looking forward to your QC work! Keep it up HW!
You were the first person I followed when I got my qc. Of course I will take advantage of the free stuff (duh) but as others have said you are running a business and need to charge for your work! Lots of time and money invested in making these captures/profiles and I am looking forward to the marketplace opening up so I can buy as much TJ stuff as I can! Also there are a lot of metal guys using QC. So some metal content might help grow your followers. Just my 2
Instant follow on the cloud! Huge fan of your kemper stuff, and have since moved to the qc - and im mostly a high gain player who dabbles in low gain stuff from time to time. Looking forward to using these sounds hermano.
Here’s where I’m at. I got QC at the beginning because I struggled to get a tone I was happy with other platforms. What I have found is the QC to be more pleasing out of the box. My friends play other devices and sound awesome. I don’t think the QC will reach its potential until they do open up the market place to guys like you. QC have done a fantastic job of providing artist downloads. But for my approach and style . Most don’t represent me. And it’s a lottery to trawl through the unknown players for potential sounds . So whatever it takes to get more diversity out there. I personally don’t have an issue with paying for a good download. And I think those that spend their working hours producing high quality tones, should be paid for their work. Perhaps those that Neural have endorsed , should keep their stuff free. And others free to market themselves . I think it’s fair that Neural take a cut. And keep developing the way it integrates with QC. I found the old days of loading IR’s and presets a headache . The new QC 2.00 is definately my bag.
My Kemper was exclusively TJ profiles, so shall it be with my QC!! The best! Also, if you made some Tone junkie pick tins for my pedalboard, I’d be down with that too… just sayin’!
@@ToneJunkieTV I'm a Kemper user lol but I was just saying. I feel like half the users of QC are metal guys. Maybe more than half. So by not having a lot for them you're doing yourself a disservice. I get that it's not your thing though which is cool because you make great stuff! Maybe there aren't a lot of metal guys who watch your content because of that. Maybe that's not the crowd you want to attract. But if you do want to attract them you need a peavey 5150 or 6505 pack and a boogie dual rectifier pack.
Quick question: How can I follow you twice on the QC App? But seriously, I appreciate what you are doing and you are adding value to both Neural and the people who have their units. The seeds you are sowing here will produce a lot of results in ways beyond what you currently know of. God bless you and everything you love. Thank you.
@@ToneJunkieTV what I am saying is that it's not made specifically for you to make money from. You are their after thought which is the way it should be. Their primary care is the guitarist to create. If they just made it from the start with market place to get saturated in people trying to sell it then it probably wouldn't have got it following
No rational person could expect you to just give away your time, effort and expertise. That has value and you really shouldn’t feel pressured from a very few who complain about anything they have to pay for. 😉
Just as a side note, the more you release stuff on the platform, the more visible you shall be on there and the more followers you will gain! That said I do understand the dilemma explain in the video here.
Neural and Kemper have both already blown it with their modelers, they just don't know it yet. Modelers primarily appeal to people _recording_ or practicing, and if IK releases the new Tonex pedal soon as expected, they'll have it ALL in place, with the capacity for more accurate amp captures. Neural and Kemper will have just sleepwalked for too long to be competitive.

Been following for a long time...I just thought you loved your Kemper too much
Any idea how many units Sweetwater has sold?
Many many
I need the Helix version!!
All sorts of awesome!!! :-) Waiting for Rabea to comment! My popcorn is ready! 🍿
No shade on Rabea, I kind of broke character but the joke is that I think I’m more famous than him! 😂
@@ToneJunkieTV :-) You guys both rock!
My Kemper was exclusively TJ profiles, so shall it be with my QC!! The best! Also, if you made some Tone junkie pick tins for my pedalboard, I’d be down with that too… just sayin’!
Great stuff!
You wanna be number one you need more heavy stuff.
Noted, there is a a pretty heavy SLO 100 up there right now. Extra tight with the tubescreamer capture
I appreciate the free captures and if the market place opens I would be happy to pay you for captures
Quick question: How can I follow you twice on the QC App? But seriously, I appreciate what you are doing and you are adding value to both Neural and the people who have their units. The seeds you are sowing here will produce a lot of results in ways beyond what you currently know of. God bless you and everything you love. Thank you.
But QC hasn't designed the system for you. It's designed for guitar players. The players are the ront of their mind not the money maker.
Not true, they announced a marketplace 2 years ago. I haven’t just thought it up by myself.
@@ToneJunkieTV what I am saying is that it's not made specifically for you to make money from. You are their after thought which is the way it should be. Their primary care is the guitarist to create. If they just made it from the start with market place to get saturated in people trying to sell it then it probably wouldn't have got it following
tfw I had already followed you on cortex cloud, up to 4.5 k now. Shoot for all of them
No rational person could expect you to just give away your time, effort and expertise. That has value and you really shouldn’t feel pressured from a very few who complain about anything they have to pay for. 😉
Just as a side note, the more you release stuff on the platform, the more visible you shall be on there and the more followers you will gain! That said I do understand the dilemma explain in the video here.
Can't wait to give you my money man. I did with kemper Ill do wth QC.
What does this content have anything to do with a QC user ??
