    I worked for Amazon customer service for a year, they trained us for 30 days. 25 day out of 30 days they trained us on how to achieve customer satisfaction. For Amazon customer is god. There is sky and land difference between Amazon and Flipkart customer service.

      @@Pranjal_____Prakash___ Yes, we sellers do charge the shipping charges, but on Amazon we can’t if we’re operating with prime enabled shipping, we sellers can only charge for first and second day guaranteed delivery, other than that we’re not allowed to charge any shipping charges while operating with prime.

    Flipkart is taking delivery charges even being a plus premium member, earlier almost 90% of my orders were from Flipkart but this delivery charges thing is irritating. Now I bought amazon prime and I buy most of the things from there.

    Flipkart customer service is the worst of the worst. And Amazon customer service is best of the best. I bought iphone from flipkart and because it had scratches i wanted to return it. It says the phone is returnable within 10 days but their real game is that they accept the return buy by citing filmsy reason they keep delaying it, saying photos uploaded is not clear, after many tries they accepted the photos and arranged for a so called pick up, and ofcourse no one came to pick up, then re open the case again, talked to their customer service again and again. They played games with me and made me believe that they will accept the return and refund my money for 10 days. After the return period of 10 days was over, they closed my ticket saying return window is closed. One of the biggest frauds they are. Many others faced similar situation when it comes to returning items.

    I bought my first redmi phone on flipkart. My observation, their biggest mistake was making the Flipkart app compulsory for transactions.Smart phones were not that fast those days, Flipkart app used to slow down the phone. Generally everbody used to delete the preloaded app. Amazon filled the gap.

    Amazon sets the gold standard for customer service. Even when smaller companies provide chat support, Flipkart lags behind without offering it. Additionally, reaching Flipkart's support team is a challenging task compared to the seamless experience provided by Amazon. I used to be a dedicated shopper on Flipkart, driven by the desire to support an Indian company. However, since Walmart's acquisition, that sentiment has faded.

    Flipkart is hindering all e-commerce. Flipkart has given convenience to its customers in many ways by taking care of its losses. The thing which would be sold in Flipkart for Rs. 200, Amazon sold for Rs. 400 and Flipkart also provides quick delivery as compared to other e-commerce.

    Flipkart used to give free delivery on all of its products even though its price is under ₹100 , but now they are imposing delivery charge. That the reason of loss of customers.
    While Amazon always have a delivery fee and also products are genuine on amazon

      @@Thuglife-nm1kt but if you are under 24 you can get prime membership for 150 per month. And you can get prime with airtal extream. Or with many Airtel or jio upper postpaid or prepaid plan. I have Airtel Xtreme 1299 plan in fibre so I have free prime membership bundle with it.

    Well the logistics and tech investments will definitely help … initial costs are always high … but eventually they come down because you just need to tweak them … rest advertising and marketing costs are something that needs to be managed

    Most of the time Flipkart delays delivery. A few days ago I ordered birthday decoration items from Flipkart, it came after the birthday. When I called their customer care and said that after this experience this is the last time I ordered something from Flipkart, the customer care person said that he is happy to hear that!
    Later, I ordered a sports costume for my son's annual sports day (link was provided by the school) and it was delivered after the sports day. When I begged them to deliver it before the day, they said that it was not possible!

    I have bill two item 2 mounth ago
    1. Tree seeds - but empty box delivered
    2. Soap base order 1 kg - but delivered only 700 grams...
    Customers support is not good..

    I had ordered Oppo earbuds from Flipkart but they looked damaged and old so I sent a request to return them but the delivery boy didn't come to pickup the product but again I put a return request and the delivery boy didn't come to pick up the product. I kept putting the request for a month but the delivery boy never came to pick up the product and neither were Flipkart returning the money, I have never seen worse customer service than this.

    Flipkart really doesn't seem to care about their customers. I Ordered a Sofa about 3 months back on 3rd November and it is not delivered till now. the expected delivery date was 24 November but they keep extending it 3 4 days. i am constantly trying to contact flipkart's customer care from last 1 month about the same but they keep telling that your order will be cancelled and you will get the refund within 2 3 days but as you've already guessed, the refund never came and i am calling different customer care numbers just to get my own hard earned 30000 rupees. So, i guess they will continue making record losses until they figure out how to improve their pathetic customer service.

    I used to work as a wish master in Flipkart. We had to deliver a goods 34 Kms and that too for just Rs 16 and if the customer did not take it, we did not get anything.

    Because in 2022 and 2023 amazon app was down after the upgrade. So people might have deleted the app but some people like us who were the first online shopper and since it was our first online shop app we ever used, i still stayed and like to shop from flipkart because they give free delivery even for 1 item to plus members

    I ordered through Flipkart, but by mistake I had put wrong PIN code but still they took 2 days extra but delivered my order. Also the person who delivered patiently waited till I checked the product so it was a good experience

    Actually Filpkart has very bad customer service specifically delivery of orders. Yes they also hv good offers whr one can save money. Serious improvement in management of delivery and data to update in Flipkart software is required.
    One time they did not update order delivered even on my regular follow up. I couldn't return/exchange my order to get one size small size 😅. Very poor service.
