I put a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge, left all the others as the garbage that came with it as I never use them! It's a Chinese replica which I bought as an experiment to see how decent I could make it. However, I have many real Les Pauls and I can say with hand on heart that this guitar is never going to be as good to play as a proper Les Paul, no matter what bits I add to it, mainly because the neck and frets are poor.
Nice Gibson, what kind is it, what pick-ups are used?
Sounds great!
