I have the Sir James Galway version on my iPhone and windows tablet and I have actually seen him preform it live with the Columbus Symphony back when he used to do concerts as a symphony conductor. He also in that concert performed Flight of the Bumblebee in 1 minute and 55 seconds. He also played The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba.
Say raise your flute a little on your right and you will see the sound a little rounder! Come on I know it's not easy but I heard that for ten years with my teacher! 😇.
Oh, Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling From glen to glen, and down the mountain side. The summer's gone, and all the roses falling, It's you, It's you must go and I must bide. But come ye back when summer's in the meadow, Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow, It's I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow,- Oh, Danny boy, O Danny boy, I love you so! But when ye come, and all the flowers are dying, If I am dead, as dead I well may be, Ye'll come and find the place where I am lying, And kneel and say an Avè there for me. And I shall hear, though soft you tread above me, And all my grave will warmer, sweeter be, For you will bend and tell me that you love me, And I shall sleep in peace until you come to me!
@@tonybarde2572 Yes Tony, the lyrics of Danny Boy were set to this mysterious old tune many years after it had been located. They actually don't detract anything from it when you hear it played skilfully like this. It still remains a beautiful haunting tune
Wow....so young and already such a tone. I wish you the very best, young man.
Thank you 😊
