One Dutch aircraft I wish we get in the future is the Fokker D.XXIII, a push-pull plane like the Do 335 but with a twin boom design. Powered by two Walter Sagitta V12 engines, and was armed with two 7.9mm Browning .30 cal. LMGs & two 13.2mm FN Browing HMGs. The prototype had it's first flight on May 30th, 1939 (So 85 years ago today) and sadly the project was abandoned following the German invasion of the Netherlands in May of 1940.
I noticed that TOW2B quite literally ONLY one taps Flat turrets like the leopards, the composite armor on russian tanks blocks and absorbs all the damage so you’d need at least 2 unless you get that lucky af pixel explosion that gets to the ammo
So a new add-on to the leak list gave us four new vehicles. A new Italian/Hungarian vehicle (Logically, it's the Hungarian Leopard 2A7. But I'm hoping for the 44M Tas), the Gripen C, and two CV9035s (One from Denmark going to Sweden & one from the Netherlands going to France).
Honestly kinda surprised they didn't give Italy the Spanish Leopard 2E considering Spain has been in the Italian tree for ages with the VRCC. Tho I won't complain, a Hungarian 2A7+ would solve their biggest issue. Now if only they'd also get an actual top tier SPAA then it'd be great
Although the American one lacks a lineup to back it up, the Taiwanese AH1W fits perfectly in the Chinese 10.7 lineup. It's a good side option to the Z9WA, that one being more of an anti air heli and the Whiskey being a better ground pounder. Overall think it works much better there than the US one does
Best strategy when using laser guided munitions is to aim near the target, like the ground or a building, until around 5 seconds before it hits. War Thunder ground players almost always don’t react to laser warning with smoke unless it’s more than like 5 seconds.
Out of everything, still yet to see something like m113 AS4, could be a cool little apc to add to the british tree as an event or techtree light vehicle for 10.7/11.0 britain
TOW-2B are very unreliable at killing stuff but very reliable at taking out breaches or gunners/commanders if you aim them correctly. So if you use them to disable the enemy and follow it up with your bushmaster they are great.
While the flight performance and controllability of the TOW-2Bs are very nice, the very inconsistent damage especially in combat is what really turns me off. Sure, you get up to 12 of them, the most missiles carried by any IFV, but even in a prepared position, you're usually forced to expend quite a few missiles just to destroy a single target.
Oh man I love the Whiskey Cobra. Taiwanese one fits into the absurdly strong Chinese 10.7 lineup. I might try and use it over the Z-9WA once I get it, Z-9 is better all around but still. The sights on this just suck sadly. Also I believe these did carry 9M's in real life, at least the Taiwanese ones. I'd say it would be fair for both AH-1W's to receive it, as PLA helis sit pretty with their TY-90's at similar or even lower BR's. And you have to sacrifice FOUR Hellfires to equip a single Sidewinder anyway.
i found a source that states that USMC AH-1Ws received a upgrade (The NVD scope upgrade), which offered the bonus of increasing the zoom to 30x. Its called the NTS and NTS-A, which btw equips the italian A-129 Mangusta
Pfff man wtf why are you running the whiskey without it's best load out. There are only two correct load outs for her with those being 4x gunpods and the second one being 8x Zuni's and 2x gunpods but she never leaves the ground without gunpods on them because shooting two targets at once is life. And to answer your question I think the TOW B are too inconsistent to bring over the A models. I can see bringing 2 to deal with that one guy that hides but problem is it likely will take more than two rendering then pretty much useless
No no the Japan AH-64DJP is better it can load 16X Hellfire II + 4X AIM-92 Stingers and is BR 11.0 sees a lot of downtiers. pro tip: you can send several Hellifre II's down range and they will each go to where you're lasing
I'm going to agree but you need the gunpods to go with the Zuni's. Those two make the dream build for myself. This helicopters optics are terrible for Hellfires so I never use them with the whiskey
Yet another short-changed US/NATO vehicle...big surprise...not. Useful advice for hellfires ...do the double-tap. The hellfire is one of the few that will still guide with more than one in the air. Unlike the 9L the basic R60's will ignore flares about 50% of the matches...some matches they just don't...other times they do. Very inconsistent but it doesn't have to do very much to beat the 9L's attraction to flares.
I mean, before it was nerfed the first spawn Zuni was cracked. Glynx has the same missile and also a shitty sight. Glynx has AAM, ah1w has a gun and Zuni. I wouldn’t call it worse than Glynx, they each have something the other doesn’t have. But I mean 10.3 would be fine for it. It would just be the third 10.3 for the US then
I just wish i could use a helicopter without getting OBLITERATED by roof mounted 50 cals. I hate using atgms, they are so boring to use, but it is the ONLY way to use a helicopter.

I prefer Tow-2B because they fly so much better than the rest, even though most times you have to use multiple of them
AH-1Z did have AIM-9L at the start, but they pulled like 25G and they wobbled bad, pretty bad.

I have a love hate relationship with the tow-2b, great for getting folks that like to hide behind hills but so hard to get a kill on the first hit.
The whiskey fits with the 11.0 line up tanks
TOW2Bs are hit or miss but they are very rewarding when you aim them just right.
China also got super cobra and it is perfectly firting in the 10.7 lineup, you must try it, it is best chinese lineup so far
