Epic, very sorrowful. I like how regretful Zero is. I feel like the Hunters fucked up when they discovered Magma Dragoon was the culpirit, but never ask themselves who made Magma Dragoon do it. The "Cui Bono" wasn't there for Repliforce. Hell, Split Mushroom all but makes it clear who's behind everything. Then again, Sigma literally had a man on the inside.
What I like about this comic is that, while Zero does put a lot of blame on himself over the deaths of Colonel and Iris, he recognizes that he wasn't the only one at fault. Colonel's pride and Iris' naiveness were also main factors for that outcome
Also The General for failing to realize that the authorities would go after him, even if he straight out proclaimed he wasn't rebelling. Relocation to an orbital superweapon didn't help his case, either.
In Colonel's defense; he didn't refuse to disarm simply for honor's sake. Tensions were already running high and he didn't trust the Maverick Hunters, no Reploids did. And he had no guarantee that if he did give up his sword and accompanied Zero to Maverick Hunter HQ, that he or any of his men would be walking out alive.
@@DragoEpyonstill Zero nevertheless believed killing Colonel was the only reason to keep the peace between humans and reploids. Plus it was also Sigma’s part of Sigma’s ultimate plan to leave the Maverick Hunters isolated from any allies by putting Repliforce and the Hunters against each other.
@@DragoEpyon Honestly, the whole thing never feel like it was an inevitable conflict of ideals and moral ambiguities, but a stupid mistake that could have avoidable if Repliforce was more reasonable and less prideful with the Hunters being more empathetic and emotionally appealing, thus ultimately doom either sides because they can't accept compromise with nothing to prove their respective ideals and changes in the end. If Colonel was written to be less about pride and more because he didn't want to risk his own men and himself killed, which perfectly in-line with the backstory of Repliforce being feared for their potential of danger... If X and Zero were written to focus on disarming the tension and emotionally appealing... If Repliforce's course of action for the coup isn't to attack human cities and hurt the innocents in the process... If Final Weapon isn't a thing and instead just a spaceship to house the Repliforce, prove the sincerity of not rebelling the human world... I would have feel bad for both sides for wanting to prove their ideal of justice.

imagine what wily would've thought about zero feeling this way? "like bro you were bulit to kill blue robo boy and you're crying over robo wife??" idk maybe wily has a heart
Omg this was excellent ❤ it really conveyed Zeros feelings of regret but at the same time the what ifs, and the other factors that led to such a sad fate were considered. This had me on the verge of tears and the art… I love it all
I always had a question about x4. So when Iris transforms she has what looks frighteningly similar to an evil energy orb from MM8... Infact I'd say its exactly identical to the one bass used. And her mech form looks irrily like the evil space being duo fought. Anyone else pick up on that?

Its weird to see Zero crying... because in the manga X is the only one who is able to cry

Zero: even if I wanted to cry like X do, I have no tears to shed...
Zero needs to shed his tears it’s better for his character development. It shows as a side of him that we’ve never seen before.
Zero Lucas gilbertson
Wily included a freaking hair but not the capacity to cry.
@@DougYoung-ji1qtproblem with that is that Zero CAN’T shed tears. Not because he doesn’t want to, but because he can’t physically.
@ it’s still good for his character development though.
I swear I need a MegaMan X anime. This dub is very well done, good job!
This is why megaman x is so much better then OG megaman. So many feelings.
When Mega Man gets sloppy writing, it's silly... when Mega Man X gets sloppy writing.. it can hurt.
Stor wise? totally.
Gameplay wise, i'd say they're tied...

Wake up, say good morning to
That sleepy person lying next to you
If there's no one there, then there's no one there
But at least the war is over
It's us, yes, we're back again
Here to see you through 'til the day's end
And if the night comes, and the night will come
Well at least the war is over
Lift your head and look out the window
Stay that way for the rest of the day and watch the time go
Listen, the birds sing
Listen, the bells ring
All the living are dead, and the dead are all living
The war is over and we are beginning
Gridlock on the parkway now
The television man is here to show you how
The channel fades to snow, it's off to work you go
But at least the war is over
She's gone, she left before you woke
As you ate last night, neither of you spoke
Dishes, T.V., bed, the darkness filled with dread
But at least the war is over
Lift your head and look out the window
Stay that way for the rest of the day and watch the time go
Listen, the birds sing
Listen, the bells ring
All the living are dead, and the dead are all living
The war is over and we are beginning
We won, or we think we did
When you went away, you were just a kid
And if you lost it all, and you lost it
Well, we'll still be there when your war is over
Lift your head and look out the window
Stay that way for the rest of the day and watch the time go
Listen, the birds sing
Listen, the bells ring
All the living are dead, and the dead are all living
The war is over and we are beginning
Here it comes, here comes the first day
Here it comes, here comes the first day
It starts up in our bedroom after the war
It starts up in our bedroom after the war
After the war...
After the war, after the war
After the war...
After the war, after the war
After the war...

Love this. Will there be future videos of this kind from megaman x1-8?
There will, just stay tune.

The dark core if im not mistaken is her dead brother (colonel) core and how she got it? I dont know
I hope Udon entertainment will show this to be canonic in mega man x Udon comics 2025
Beautiful
Indeed, also hello fellow toku fan (rare nowadays)
