    Watched the video the other week and at Saturdays game I had the words of the vid ringing in my ears 'Stay on the Goalscorer' I'd even got the shot of the goal but he started to run off, then turned around and ran towards me, and yep got another couple of shots. Goes to show that even if you know to stay on the player, it does not hurt to be reminded thanks Mark.

      That’s brill Paul. Defo keep an eye on them. Sometimes they hear a fan shout their name and suddenly spin around for one last fist pump in the air, you just never know👍🏻

    I am learning so much from your informative videos. My photos now make the matchday posters and the programme front cover. These are firsts for me mate. There's Only One Mark Kerton! 🤩

    I just want to say I'm blown away with your content, thanks. I brought a 6D II a couple of years ago to photograph nature so I've got a Canon 100:400 and a sigma 150:600. Nothing flashy I know. I've got myself permanently injured so I couldn't get out. I was pretty despondent until I saw your stuff and now I'm down my local Step 4 club (Hednesford) every weekend snapping. I have no idea what I'm doing but watching your is giving me a lot of inspiration and encouragement. I like the idea of going more into this and I think I'll start going down the local stockcar track as well which is only 5 minutes away. Thanks for reigniting my passion and dreams. Crap photos as the moment but loving every miniute of it. I just need to learn to keep photographing when we score instead of cheering :-) Thanks, buddy.

    I like this format versus the in game picture taking format. There is more to learn hearing about the times when there was an almost great picture taken and what could have been done differently to get the perfect picture.

    • @MarkKerton
      @MarkKerton  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Jim, that’s envoy to hear. I do really enjoy filming pitchside but do often gloss over images or why I took them in the way I did. I’m also enjoying making the videos in this “at home” format. I definitely find I can give more tips and advice out this way👍🏻

    A tip for you Mark. I was watching the Wrexham v Salford City match on YT just now and there was a clip of a spare ball sitting on the cone. It occurred to me that maybe you could 'bribe' the ball boy near to you to make sure he arranges the ball upright with the EFL logo facing you so you can tick that one shot off your 'Brief'.

    • @MarkKerton
      @MarkKerton  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks👍🏻 As it goes I do that with the ball every game just before I sit down before kick off. It’s the ball “in play” that I’m trying to capture. It’ll come soon I’m sure.

    You weren't at f/22, you were at 22mm and f/6.3. Great video as always and love watching your videos to give me help and tips in my own non-league photography. Out of interest, I know this is a bit below your level but can anyone send images in to the non-league paper?

    • @MarkKerton
      @MarkKerton  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ahhhh was I, too busy filming to realise I’d read it wrong🤣 I was surprised I’d put it to f22!
      Non-league paper take submissions from anyone I think? Someone on here will let you know I’m sure. And it’s not below me mate defo not. I’d be just as happy at a non league game as anywhere else. We’re all in this game together👍🏻

    With the 1DX and 400 being stuck, if that's related to the lens mount, parts shouldn't be an issue as that's just the EF mount. Hope everything get fixed and not too expensive.

    Hello Mark!
    I watch, admire and learn from your videos.
    This weekend is a big day for me, I'm doing something big :)
    Are you sitting on the grass or normally in a chair? Because the photos are from a very low perspective

    • @MarkKerton
      @MarkKerton  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching👍🏻 How did you big shoot go?
      We usually sit nice and low on a small fold away stool “Mini-Max” but at Ipswich we literally have to sit on the floor!

      The photos turned out great! :) I was wondering how it's possible for you to sit so low, especially with the advertising boards there. I thought there must be some trick to it. :)

    • @MarkKerton
      @MarkKerton  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Chris. I’m kinda thinking the same you know. Especially after hearing that certain sports, snooker and tennis to name a few, are demanding mirrorless only snappers from now on! Watch this space👍🏻

    Hi mark,hope you enjoyed the game ? as I know I did and watching this afterwards. How many photos do you normally send off as I’ve started to take a few of my local team but don’t want to bore them with too many snaps,keep up the good work also enjoy the aircraft vids too. Thank you

    • @MarkKerton

    Another great video thanks Mark. How do you work out what to set for your white balance under the various conditions you shoot? If you've done another video explaining this, can you drop a link to it please?

    • @MarkKerton
      @MarkKerton  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Col👍🏻 I tend to shoot in Auto white balance as a rule. Sometimes on a dull overcast flat day I might pop it into the cloud setting as it does warm images up a little bit. Hope that helps. Thanks again for watching.

      @colbrazier ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MarkKerton Cheers Mark. I tend to shoot cloudy even in sunny conditions and auto under lights. Then I ran into a guy I respect and he shoots 5500K in bright sunshine. Interesting to know that auto is reliable :)

    • @MarkKerton
