I think its because they have sexual٫ or romantical needs (sometimes grooming isnt being used to fulfill sexual or romantical needs٫ sometimes its for other reasons or motives) ٫ and those needs arent being met so they try to use children to fulfill their needs because children are more vulnerable and gullible٫ so they get groomed more easily. Its just twisted and disgusting-

Unless it’s big head. I mean, yeah, the negative reputation does exist, but for the most part, these accessories are viewed favorably. Mostly because they’re just so classic.
Don’t worry. Think about this: the hats are older than some that play roblox today, and if you stretch the history of roblox on a timeline, the person behind the reputation is just a small window in the timeline. Wear your hats as you wish

It's pretty strange youtubers who, well, get exposed for horrible things ALWAYS had a tophat for an avatar.
I'm having a little guess that whenever you wear a tophat there's either a 50/50 chance you become a nice person or you pull the cupcake way.

putting Preston between 2 actual child predators is kinda wild for me because (NOT DEFENDING HIM NOT DEFENDING HIM NOT DEFENDING HIM) all he does is bad taste but not illegal
There's also a ton of accessories with no reputations. These items are either worn by very few people or were past event items that came with no branding.
i think the biggest shame is that we allow these items' reputations to be tarnished by some people that really shouldnt have the power to. some of these items are associated with tradition and some look really cool, we shouldnt allow them to be overshadowed by some people.
This isn't an accessory but I feel like having a different coloured torso whilst all your other body parts are the same colour have also been ruined by these Roblox creeps. This includes Ribs and koneko.

like atleast a quarter of the avatars i see in JToH are what you described (ex: boomsasok, kaan2005 + like every top obbyist ever)
I have this and a top hat. I like the simplicity plus the colours I have chosen but these 2 things have been ruined by groomers.
most of the people who do this have generic avatars that are cringe but for people such as me with no robux who have learned to make very good free avatars using this with any item that covers your whole head + a good t shirt (uploaded for free) can be very good as long as you match the torso well with the rest of the body

the legitimate hat limited also follows a similar idea to valk. older accounts with legit get pged and you can buy a legit from the bm. roblox will pay attention to items above 100k in rap, so there is some risk with bming or plugging (trading for stolen/pois lims) a valk. if its a legit then its fine
Pains me to see accessories ( especially some that I own like bighead ) associated with complete creeps and horrible people in general.

I hope people can recognize that *most* of the official Roblox accessories has its own charm and the uniqueness of them. Having accessories made by Roblox and them being the only available ones, it really meant the idea of "Creative limitation" which can connect back to their motto "Powering your imagination" and how you go about with your avatar design, being limited to those accessories only

bighead doesn't have a bad reputation, but the biggerhead was less known and less bought. Hence why its mostly associated with MisterObvious, since its was mostly rare to see someone wear that

I haven't played Roblox since maybe 2017 and when I did I didn't watch Roblox TH-camrs ( I think I didn't know they existed lol) but I clicked on this video out of curiosity and I was shocked to hear about all the p3dos on Roblox!! Probably for the better I stopped playing it because I was a super gullible, trusting kid XD. That aside, it brought back a lot of memories! When you mentioned Meepcity, I was FLUNG back in time. Literally no one recognizes these limiteds by the things you mentioned. I've been into trading and limiteds for almost 2 years now and this the the first time hearing about 90% of this stuff. It's like you just took the most popular limiteds and then found some predator and made it look like everyone associates the limiteds with the predator... Obviously when you have 100,000 copies of an item like a bighead, there's going to be some predator wearing it.

It would be a interesting idea, because bloxburg has started to fall off ever since coffee stain made this update, and you're the only one the bloxburg community can count on, because we're trying to get the dev's to know that they can't do these kind of updates anymore. I used to have the green hair and bow on my avatar for a while, and people sometimes asked me if I was a fan of Lisa gaming, even though I had no idea who she was at the time.
The FREE Roblox accessory with a bad reputation in my opinion might just have to go to the Junkbot battery for me, or really any of the Junkbot accessories. I generally associate those items to exploiters or scammers, as I see many of them equipping at least one of them or using the full package. They're not generally bad accessories, as they're also associated with generally newer and friendly people. Either way, in my opinion it's most prominently seen with exploiters and scammers, so no surprise there.

Some items that I think have some good reputations are the laid back cowboy hat that flamingo wears, the beanie with the mouse ears that kreekcraft wears, and the flame helmet + Robux spiral that PGHLFilms wears

I absolutely love the Banded Top Hat series, it's really a shame that like half of the people that use them is a predator.
