Teresa always gave me neurotic vibe red flags from the beginning. I expected her to be overly controlling. She can say she's trying to protect Carly, but when she turns 18, she's gonna be thrown into the media cage without any idea how to manage it. I think Teresa does this for her. That's just my opinion
Neither of them were in a place to keep Carly. Clearly you have not watched the early years of their 16 and pregnant and Teen Mom. Neither of them had a stable home or parent themselves let alone any way to afford raising a baby. I think they made the absolute best decision for the situation they were in. It's easy to see them now and think "they could of kept Carly" but they definitely have not always been this way. I am SO happy for them. Their wedding was the most beautiful thing and I truly hope they can find healing in making the best choice they could have 14 years ago.

If I adopted a kid and the bio parents are happily married with their own kids and asked if they could see the gift they gave me I would let my child go visit for a whole week or as much as possible. It seems to me like their expectations outside of the legal agreement were different. It always seems like Cait and Tyler thought that Carly's adoptive parents would be more willing to let them be a part of Carly's life more than they are allowed to be. They usually do see Carly off of the show in more recent years, yet Brandon and Teresa only let them see her every 2 years instead of every year, like the original agreement said that they could. As the adults in the situation, I never understood why Teresa and Brandon chose to adopt a baby that was literally featured on an MTV series, if they had a problem with tv. There are many other kids who need adopting who are not on tv.

It seems to me like their expectations outside of the legal agreement were different. It always seems like Cait and Tyler thought that Carly's adoptive parents would be more willing to let them be a part of Carly's life more than they are allowed to be. They usually do see Carly off of the show in more recent years, yet Brandon and Teresa only let them see her every 2 years instead of every year, like the original agreement said that they could. As the adults in the situation, I never understood why Teresa and Brandon chose to adopt a baby that was literally featured on an MTV series, if they had a problem with tv. There are many other kids who need adopting who are not on tv.
@@BlackQueenA1825 that is excellent point and another great perspective however my husband did adopt a child who was 9 mos old he's 27 now it was an open adoption and he still called the shots when family members were trying to start shit that was not in the best interest of the child. I can't speak for their situation as neither can you when cameras aren't rolling but obviously there is a reason the adoptive parents declined a visit. They call the shots not Tyler. I wasn't having sex at 16 but I can guarantee I would understand the terms
