Another superstition about love and courting is that if a girl or a boy has a mole under the eye, he or she will never, ever have a happy love life. The explanation is, if tears "feed" the mole, then it brings kind of bad luck when it comes to relationships, especially in marriage. If a girl is single, never give her jewelries that have pearls on it. Pearls are considered as tears; hence, it is inauspicious if you will give a single lady a set of pearl jewelries for it will just bring more tears or pains in her relationship or love life. Do not take a man if he always walk through the door with his left foot first. Why? Left is considered evil or dark, thus it will just bring bad luck to you if you will have him for a boyfriend. Napakarami pang pamahiin ang mga Pilipino, lalo na't pagdating sa pag-aasawa at pakikipagrelasyon (Filipinos have a lot of superstitious beliefs when it comes to marriage and relationships). Elders taught me to never give someone shoes because you're basically allowing them to step all over you (kinda weird but ok) and the thing about the necklace is if it breaks you and your significant other will break up

I always heard about the pimple thing growing up lmaooo. And my boyfriend and I always give each other shoes 😳 And I gave him a necklace for Valentine's Day omg
I've heard about the pimple one too because my friend (who is also my Ate) asked me if I was in love when I had a pimple on my nose (and I don't usually get pimples). I think the reason they asked me if I was in love because I've never had a bf or been in love and I rarely get pimples :P
I think my cousin told me about superstition number 2 and aunties or relatives assume that you're inlove when you have a pimple is because when you stay up late, you'll have a pimple (right?) and they'll assume that you stayed up late texting or thinking about the guy you "like"
Ooohh I know one superstition! Idk if it's related to dating or what but if someone close to you is wearing a ring, and you're curious and want to take good look at it, you can't be the one to remove it from their finger or else you'll get into a fight with this person. So that person who has the ring must be the one to remove it then hand it to you :))
It's not about dating, but in general, when you have a ring on your finger and your friend wants to borrow it or maybe just see it off of your finger, you shouldnt let them take it off because you and your friend might fight in the near future :) and by the way! About the pimple on the nose, it's because a lot of people believe that when you're inlove, you stay up late thinking about the person and you get pimple by staying up late 😂 listen to the song Pers Lab - Hotdog. My Fiance told me after i said "everyone does videoke here" she said before if a boy wants to date they have to sing to the parents to impress them hahaha im sure she was teasing me but her sisters said the same but idk if they were just agreeing to tease me too lol

Duly noted for the future! I never wear rings, but I would hate to get into fights with anyone because of this!
