Bro I know right, I work at a Marina at night doing security and I see ALL the different props and I have so many questions and this helped some but still have more questions LoL.
it depends on the prop, you can prop one to accelerate harder down low but generally that will take away from top end performance, or vice versa, put a tall pitch prop on it and it won't accelerate as hard but will turn a higher mph on the big end.
@@championsparklake1442 id love to see a video of how much of a difference that prop makes compared to other props.. just looking at how the chop performs in the water is pretty impressive.
I have always known about how people keep their props under wraps, but man the science and physics of it is amazing.

“This is my favourite prop” is props 101. Don’t make me laugh you fool 😂😂😂😂
Hello Chris- been way to many years! great video! Looking good! Beau C.
Enjoy your videos, thanks for your time.
Hey, I know this video is real old but coming from the jetski racing community, does dewald still do work ?
How about the efficiency of the propeller at 200 nph?
Nice propeller sir.new friend from philippines.i have a boat 20hp what is the best size of propeller
So, where can i buy racing props? I wanna have a 30hp racing dinghy, but i don´t know where to get a suitable prop.
Dewalt Props out of PA is a good place to start
Yuss Dewalt props are decent! I agree with @championsparklake
does these props make ur boat faster?
or just moer acceleration???
BOTH....

Would like more info on the weed eater or razor prop. Curious if it would work well on a hydrostream
Question please, if my propeller changed from 7.8x8 to 7.7x7 how would it affect thrust and speed? Will greatly appreciate
undetectable difference maybe 200 rpm
lower pitch ,then lower top speed
So are all your props small diameter 4 blades?
They will run 5 blades from time to time. We have seen a 6 blade but no one could make it work
Four props... I figure you have $16,000 worth of propellers sitting on that boat... 4 props at $4,000 a piece... How close am I???...
Might be a little high on that. $1K to $2500 more like it. Props are the magic. I've seen racers do just about anything to hide their best prop
@@championsparklake1442 thank you... haven't raced a tunnel Hull since Molinari's in the seventies... I guess I put too much into inflation LOL
@@dwightbernheimer331 YOUR ESTIMATE WOULD APPLY TO OFFSHORE RACING WHERE THE CNC 18" DIA HERRING PROPS CAN RUN UPWARDS OF 12G A PAIR? OR SO.....
@@craigbielsky115 I was exaggerating for effect LOL... I raced Mercury powered tunnel boats decades ago, in the 70s. Thanks for taking the time...
And now we know even less about props lol. 👍
Can you even get ahold of dewald any more
Где такой винт раздобыть хех..
You should get the sharrow prop and put it on a race boat
Would love to try some. Always up for something new
