- Roland E-X10 Junk Keyboard, presented by Rev. Michael D. Mowery, Monday 21 October 2024.
Roland makes some great keyboards, but this isn't one of them.
This video features the Roland E-X10 keyboard, the Roland DP-10 damper pedal, and the Roland RH-5 headphones.
I bought the Roland E-X10 after I bought the Roland Go Keys 3 keyboard.
The Roland DP-10 pedal continuous switch does not work on either keyboard, but the normal sustain works fine.
The Roland RH-5 headphones do not work properly on the E-X10 but work perfectly on the Go Keys 3.
The Roland E-X10 is probably the worst keyboard Roland makes and sells to naive beginners.
The Roland E-X10 is a beginner keyboard with child toy tones at a list price of $250.
The sound of the main piano is tolerable if the piano is all you want.
The Roland E-X10 is NOT user friendly, fun, and easy to navigate.
It has a microphone input that is useless and an LCD screen that is almost unreadable.
At least it comes with a music rest, which many Roland keyboards do not have.
If you are a beginner, I suggest you stay away from the Roland E-X10.
The Donner DEK-610 keyboard ($170) is better than the Roland E-X10 ($250).
If you are a beginner, I suggest you buy the Casio LK-S450 ($300) or the Yamaha EZ-300 ($300).
I am donating this Roland E-X10 junk keyboard to charity.
Thanks for watching.
