I agree, jung is becoming more and more prevalent now more than ever; and I believe to a degree, we have to thank J Peterson for bringing him to the main stream conversation.

A lot of people of the past overlook this and their genius never reaches the pinnacles of where it could have gone.i do agree that Jung is still playing a big role in getting spirits to realize they are more then the 18 years of indoctrination taught them
it already has had an enormous influence, youre just on the slave side of the equation. when it becomes common knowledge, itll be irrelevant and thats pretty much where we are now. next comes diffusion, a dismantling of knowledge and a re synthesis from whats left over. our tower of babel, we thought wed reach heaven through thought. kinda sweet, completely insane.

The weird thing is how synchronicity seems to be a reward for the attentive mind. Switch on, apply your mind to the task of loving your life, and being vulnerable to meaning, and synchronicities abound.

yo this is so true, i notice that when i dont let my inner demons rule my state of mood i start feeling like what i want in my mind starts to appear in reality, on valentines day i was just focused on me and appreciating myself for who i am and i felt this immense positive energy flowing through and radiating from me. i was with a friend and we hit up a strip club but out of the blue we ended up picking up two hot girls and i was thinking, wtf its like we didnt even have to try they just appeared. so we had a good night with them but idk is this an example? or am i just reading to much into it

The moment I started to actually note down all of the synchronicities, I'm talking coincidences in time, numbers repeating, thoughts and ideas repeating and being reflected to me by others, the world, all of it.
The moment, I started to consciously track all of these, it's like my brain's reticular activation system has been 'tuned' to picking these up subconsciously now, and I recognize when I'm in the flow and on the path, and when I am not.
This new way of living is crazy to me, it feels like surfing.
You have a good grasp of how to keep your balance, but you re-member and recognize that you can never prepare for every single type and permutation of waves in the theoretical mind, you must just surf and let your body and mind adapt in the moment.

Intuitive, instinctive thinking can process far more, far faster than the rational intellect, and this is precisely why the intellect can't understand instinctive thinking. The instincts "know" faster than the ego understands.
If you can build up the courage to trust your body and the waves, I've found that faith in being carries you much farther than thinking can. And then you can try to figure out _why_ it worked later :)

In Navajo traditional teachings the number 4 is also regarded as the secret number. For them it represents the 4 worlds (white, blue, yellow, black), the 4 invisible senses indicated by the space between our fingers (the traditional name for human is 5 fingered being) and also our 4 states of being, that we need to conquer to proceed and grow (emotion, mental, physical, spiritual).
We find our self in the yellow world. Yellow because it represents life itself, as in pollen, egg yoke and the sun.

I really, really enjoy and appreciate what you did here. As an astrophysicist interested in consciousness studies and where that eventually coincides with the unavoidable, existential aspect of cosmology theories, I have found myself getting into the Jung-Pauli correspondences, and your interpretation was well worth the watch. I don't have many people to talk with and I feel like I've just connected with someone who understands.🙂

It happens to me about 4 times per day. For example, I was writing several times and listening to some video and I was writing things they hadn't said yet. I could understand if it were at the same time because that is subliminal, but when it's saying what you are writing it gets your attention.

This video was eye opening, man. Really helped me out of a research rut I was is, and gave me the thoughts I needed to get back into it. Wish my profs were like you, would've loved going to class. 🤣
I have been seeing the number 522 (or 225) over and over again for a couple of years now, seemingly every time I stumble onto an important lesson or teaching and spiritual deepening. I even told my Mom about it over a year ago on 5/22, and didn't even realize it was that date until hours after speaking with her. It freaked her out. I also just had a house close on that date this year (just completed), my first ever. In your video, when I saw the "transcendent function/5th is the unity of the four" referring to p. 225 of Jung's 'Aion' I just laughed. In my personal experience, synchronicity is very real, and oddly reassuring, if also a bit unnerving.
The way we understand causation is by seeing two events consistently conjoined in time. The brain can't tell the difference between two events that are joined causally and two events that are joined by synchronicity just going by the senses, so it gives meaning to both.

I think a lot of people in the comments are misunderstanding what Jung proposed is a synchronicity. There was a woman talking about her dream with a beetle. As she talks about, one flies into the window and Jung points it out to her. The **important** thing here is that in seeing the beetle, it caused a psychological shift in her, a layer of understanding. She had a breakthrough and only got better from that point. This is something that does not happen often.
So, if you keep seeing numbers or red cars and you don’t immediately feel a sense of understanding or a big, undeniable shift in the way you see the world, it’s not what Jung described. You know exactly what it means in the moment, and it is psychologically *healing*. So if it causes obsession or anxiety or you are unsure where it leads, it is not a synchronicity. The woman also did not keep experiencing synchronicities, just the one.

Synchronicity is always present. We don't experience moments of Synchronicity, we have moments of awareness of Synchronicity.

We are the soul in between mind and body whose responsibility it is to dictate which thoughts get to become reality.
These synchronicities come from outside sources interacting with us via consxiousness. Much like how they implant thoughts to get us to be willing vessels down here, then they give us what we want.
The problem is that this construct of time sees both fears and desires as wants.

I sense ( the subject) in nature some days ,I try to leave these experiences to a mere glimpse,as though conscious action on my part could somehow mess with it all. Still, it's strangely reassuring.

that's a brilliant attempt and you certainly got further than I ever did using the intellect. however I would also make a bold assumption here from the way you talk about this that you are lacking the experience of all of this. I would recommend reading Sri Ramana Maharshi's Be As You Are (ed. David Godman) for an explanation of the practice of Self Enquiry, and couple this with Jungian analysis (v important). These together have allowed me to go further in the experience of the unus mundus, of the self, what does it feel like to live it, in that experience the synchronicities become abundant. The intellectual understanding of this will only get you so far, and ultimately can block one from the experience itself. once you know god, have experienced god, figuring it out in your head becomes irrelevant. good luck on your inner journey.

I do enjoy such philosophical explorations, and have for many a decade. I notice how young you seem to be, but I was about 18 myself when I was first captured by philosophy and its pleasures and confrontations. One thing you mentioned about the fourfold mandala is that it is made of three and one. Delightfully interesting this is, something to contemplate. If I recall correctly, it was Jung who pointed to the description of God in Revelation being 3 animals and 1 man. Interpretations explode after that, of course!

For me I try to put synchronicities to use in conversation the most spectacular ones I haven't spoken about yet. But synchronicities have a spectrum the mind is a sychronicity machine becasue we don't know how to describe it fundamentally yet it is mostly in harmony with it's environment there is no reason we should do or think anything its a synchronicity for us to exist the way we do certainly things would make more sense if it was all just non experience.
Another thing I will say is something like what some psychologists might call apophenia may lead to very real connections/synchronicities (because of the initial irrelavance of your first experience/observation it is a synchronicity) like maybe you chose your lottery ticket numbers based on numbers you made connections with just because they were the numbers you saw at significant times in your life but the numbers them self are unrelated even in your mind but maybe the numbers win. Even if the numbers dont win this still can add more richness to your interactions with people when done properly synchronicities are just supposed to be fun to talk about.
I had a synchronicity where i was looking for abstract connections and I got a scratch ticket and the only word that was completed on the cross word was lily which had no significance at the time but i was aware i had one word to connect with i kept it in mind over the next few weeks. I also got a cherry a ace and a crown as the first three symbols on the second page of the scratch ticket. all three symbols varying amounts connected to rhe situation i was in based on my own interpretation. I then had a hyper synchronistic happening where I was being spoken about and to through my laptop then I replied out loud and got an actual reply back from the streamer. This only lasted for 2 "turns" and used short statements. After describing what i was doing with my physical body she asked a question I replied and she replied back with no delay "well you should do something about that." I dont remember what the question was or what i said in return i was just goofing off by speaking out loud because of the weirdness of her description of what i was doing when she didn't even know i was there speaking to her out loud was my response to that experience really trying to show myself that it was just a small coincidence that could be ignored. After speaking to the screen and getting a reply i decided it was not something to be forgotten. And that was actually rhe second time i had tried speaking out loud to a streamer and it worked the first time less significantly but it still worked.
Then the next day or a few days later I found out the streamer had a lily tattoo. The lily synchronicity was less exciting to me than the actual events in that stream. But recently i found out another streamer i followed from the same time about 4 years ago also has a lily tattoo of the same color. Even more i was talking to somebody and they had a tattoo of a flower which looked very similar to the fresh on my mind lily and it was orange again in my mind seemingly three orange i imagined people could get tattoos of fake flowers. it was a five petal flower but lilys have six so i asked if it was a lily. The next day the second streamer I found with the lily tattoo took a animal crossing personality test the test turned out as the character Lily and she tweeted out "damn right I'm lily.". The person with five petal lily eventually told me that it was a lily not only that but that they hand drew it for their grandma Lilian who they get their Ukrainian decent from. it took me about two months of no replys from that person to figure out that the flower on this third person was not a lily and is infact a habiscus. I was on such a an extreme high when she told me it was a lily i googled what the most common color lily tattoos are it said like red pink and some other color orange wasn't even on the list so i was absolutely losing my mind of this happening.
Another thing to note is sometimes the events come out of order. I was just surprised the streamer had a reason to talk about lilys so near to an potential synchronicity literally causing one with no question in my mind. But It would have been more crazy to find out that the five petal lily was in fact a hibiscus and then she said "damn right im lily". That's why I say they come in a spectrum some have a stronger impact than others atleast to people outside of the experience.
There are actually a large number of synchronicities that i was experiencing surounding the lily and these streamers but it starts to get very personal to my life so I won't mention them all of them. I have never seen such a huge number of synchronicities anywhere else in my life this might not even be half of them and they are usually unoticed by people or rare to even happen in a significant way so it feels significant because of the scale and chance involved. all your supposed to do with it is mention it to your friends if it leads no where it can still be interesting if you can describe why you are watching for synchronicities or why the ones you've experienced speak to you. For me it's gives me hope for a romantic future and has totally altered my idea of what is and what is not romantic I hope that watching more intently for deep synchronicities will help me build stronger connections with people in the future by keeping us all entertained.
You can persue and control to some degree what synchronicities you can persure them by simply having more experiences and you can control them by chosing what you want to be significant and whats not (its a synchronicity if you even remember anything not all your thoughts are in your head at once). You might say if you are chosing whats significant so its not a synchronicity. but in my experience you can chose a direction without chosing a destination in advance. I had no idea what a synchronicity was back when I first had my intense experiences of them. I googled "what does it mean when you see connections between unconnected things" I got apophenia and synchronicity. I just want to mention these things as part of conversation so synchronicity fits best for me.
Theres also anti synchronicity where things should be going as expected and indescribably they don't I have definitely had those as well and those can cause some discomfort with yourself or your environment but lets say you give up on an idea because of it. I think synchronicities are probabilistic you cant win them all and you just gotta hope you dont loss them all and be happy with every small victory because you are getting lucky and it's a beautiful thing.

Really good video...just one notice that ive opserved in my psychotherapy practice...sincrinicity arises from experience of observed as a focal point beetween inner and the outer percepcion...connecting the two, inconnectable at first glance, worlds.
You see it a lot as a nodal points forming matrix in small group dynamics terminilogy...those nodal points connect through unconscious the collective...(small groups form.large ones...famillies make societies)

As a Jungian mathematician I am even perplex how the quaternity dominates mathematics. Quaternions are used to described the forces in physics, specially modeling spacetime. And there are 4 normed algebras: reals are 1-dimensional; complex 2-dim; quaternions 4-dim; octonions 8-dim (tha last one can be used to represent the quantum standard model of physics, properly and probably beyond). And the hardest geometrical problems lie in 4-dimensions -- not below, above or in the infinete realms of the theory.
Sometimes I wonder what's the separating point where recognizing synchronicity & symbols becomes more like schizophrenia?
I've noticed that people who are creative & neurotic are more likely to recognize synchronicities, possibly due their open minded nature. I feel as if there is some link between schizophrenic people & the existence synchronicities & symbols within reality.

"Good, Evil, Light, Dark" is covered in one of my videos. 4 static positions (concepts, but not), each dualistically opposed. One can never fully be, without the other. It, however, may align itself with another dualistic position to be fully understood.
For example, Good = Freedom, Evil = Control. Light = Spirit, Dark = Matter. Humans (Hue-man) vs Demons (Dim-man), battle for Freedom/Control.
@@EbonKim I can agree with your analysis. Laws should only be enacted to keep one person from exerting their will over another. Therefore the laws agreed upon by common humanitarian consensus (common law) becomes the impartial task master (tyrant) over society. Not a priestly class nor a mob of haters. The simple natural law (agreed upon by the vast majority of the human race through the ages) governing human behavior. Everything else is opinion, fetish, or pet peeve.

I read synchronicity during the hurricane of erma in Florida. I was reading it during the storm a lot and as soon as the storm was done I lost the book and never saw it again.
I have tried to experiment with this theory in a way. While playing lotto. I would imagine my future self sending lotto numbers to my immediate self. I created the same mental realm to me to meet my future aspect, via the use of acid. I wrote down the numbers and immediately forgot them. Gave my friend the lotto document to play the numbers.
Then a week later I wrote down the lotto numbers that were shown on t.v that night.Took acid to create the same mental state. Projected myself in meeting past self mentally as one.
Out of my experiment I won 10k.

So yes I think you are onto something with synchronisation and it's other pole of mundo. The internal and external causality.
interesting, I personally have experienced synchronicities during acid trips but nothing like that. What you described reminds me of the feeling of Deja Vu, by recreating the same psychical & mental state. Were you able to repeat this experiment though?

A fine 'educated' effort of grasping the holy grail of consciousness Spencer, although, is the perceptual wisdom Jung was trying to re-awaken through understanding his own experiences of synchronicity, ultimeately dependent on physical experience, not psychological education? If you were to place images of the four moon phases within your quadrated circle symbol, you may find yourself wondering about the history the quadrated circle and humanity's symbolic dipiction of experiencing space-time?
Why did Jung cite the opening line of Plato's clever Timaeus dialogue in his thoughts on the acausual experience of sychronicity? Is there something about the quadrated circle symbol that reflects the way our social nature (horizontal-axis) constantly ignores the vertical axis of an ever present solar reality? And is there a great reset happening in our world, or, as shown by your own efforts, a great re-awakening of the existential wisdom created during the Bronze Age? Existential wisdom kept alive by philosophers like Plato & his master mentor Socrates, as well as the apocalyptic story-tellers of Biblical fame?
So if I turn this video on and then I sit down and watch it and look at my phone and it says the time is 11:11 is that like mean something does that mean synchronicity in this series is real I don't know interesting to think about though

Even us Christians must start to get this reality. Jesus the man himself said "my words do not return to me void". It doesn't happen immediately necessarily, but if we pay attention to this concept we will start to see these synchronized effects. Even our thoughts can synchronize with matter for this reality as well. Great video ! I may not have grabbed ahold of the totality of your thoughts but I agree with what I did get out of it.

Synchronicity is subjective within conciousness.
Conciousness is the mandala.
We see outside and exist outside, though all of outside is inside.
The big bang may be you.
We question ai and we scan with mri, though the mri is witnessed as outer and the subjective conciousness being scanned is therefore inner and with this line of thinking, this is what ai would lack and why i believe science cannot measure soul, because it is by definition you.

@@ThoughtsonThinking mine is just a thought and nothing special but it felt that way when you were explaining, since in the merkabah there are more types of sacred geometry, not based just on the points but the shapes and facets as well( when you were talking about the duality rapresented by collective unconscious and quantum non locality together as the 2 pyramids). they also have 4 facets that can be used indicate those relationships between mental and physical domains, the up and down pyramids may be a representation of the psychoid nature and interdependency of the realms. regarding synchronicity and the unus mundus they can be integrated with the other parts associated with the merkabah symbol ( the sphere for the mundus unity and the lines between points are moments of syncronicity?) i may simply be overeaching with my explanation because i'm just creating it right now as i'm seeing the video still haven't put it completely on a paper. english may be awful but please be tolerant ahah

I like this new direction you've taken and obviously Jung has impacted you deeply, but honestly, the videos looked more professional before. This ascending flame live wallpaper with a facecam on the corner while images show up makes me feel like I'm listening to someone rant about conspiracy theories lmao. I don't have a problem with the facecam (although maybe it'd look better with more direct lighting), but you could work on the presentation of your videos to make them look more professional, like they did before.
Noted, I wanted to add some kind of humanism to the videos with the use of my face and also to make my channel more personal, but yeah the flame background I will probably change up with something else, get better lighting, better quality camera, better effects that make it look more professional.

Informally, I have read all I could find by and about Jung, including, Atom and Archetype twice. I also study math and Archetypes. I have experienced many synchronicities in my 70 years, both profound and mundane. Out of Atom and Archetypes, I have been applying what I learned studying Newton, particularly, linking the Emerald tablet to his optics./ I just read a paper by James Frazier about Newton's view of astrology.
