I was wondering why you skipped level 5-2 with Michael, but seeing as how the end is mostly identical even down to the same final boss I understand the decision. Edit: Actually, after looking it up it seems playing through Ash's levels as Ash the final boss changes to Kandar The Destroyer and then a giant version of The Overlord that requires platforming to destroy all his eyes. On the other hand, playing through Michael's levels as Michael still has this same "Shadow Michael" boss fight but with a silly intro of him wearing a white sheet and glasses and the subsequent Overlord fight has very slightly different attacks where he hides in shadows while using his fire attack.
