Yesterday i opened the Bible of my father who died 22 years ago, and i found a comment on this text. The Kingdom of God is Jesus (He says : 'the kingdom of God is in your midst' and He could not speak at this time of the Holly Spirit because He didn't send Him yet, so, He spoke about Himself). The field is the world. The treasure is the church. He sold everything, He gave His own life to acquire the world and the treasure hidden in the world. This was prophetic over His mission.
