I tried this on and was blown away how beautiful it is; to be perfect, it should have maintained the red writing.
That “E” is unacceptable. I would have Rolex replace the dial under warranty

Rolex knows everyone wants this in steel and 40mm, what a tease
Knowing how rolex people roll this watch is going to be worth millions because of the flaw in the “E”
I own the 40mm blue dial and love it. This version looks good but for that price I rather get the rose gold version. or maybe a VC Overseas or the AP offshore if you can get hands on one of those lately.
Leaving the frayed plastic on the watch ruined the presentation IMO. 😷

The mistake they made with this watch was making it in white gold instead of platinum !!!
It's under warranty. And a brand new watch. Instead of being disappointed just send it in for a replacement dial. Back to perfection in no-time... Human beings made the watch. It happens.

Great watch and I the bracelet is superb, really comfortable. I own the rhodium version, just one big downside for me is the glare of the glass. The rhodium dual isn’t that readable. In hindsight I would have gone with a different dial colour
I have the watch too, it is beautiful. Dial color will not really change the issue of missing Antireflective coating, use the indices in lower light situations and readability is ok.

How would the rubber strap fare after 20 yrs use? Will it crack/ deteriorate?
They call it a bracelet as metal runs through its centre

What is wrong with the E in ROLEX on the dial?
Nice but one thing that will always keep me away from some models is the cyclops. It's one of the most iconic design ideas but also the most illogical, unnecessary and stupid. Seriously, if someone is so blind that they need a date window blown up by 150-200% just to see the date, they're unlikely to be able to see the rest of the dial! It's just a pimple on the face of a fairly decent watch. It's not useful and it's not pretty. Just because it's always been there, it doesn't mean it's good.
Love your videos! Will you do a review on the new Speedy Moon-watch? I wonder if there are any noticeable improvements with the printing on the dial, in comparison with the previous model.
Now i gotta buy a splashed "E" Yachtmaster! Thats money in the bank.

I'd rather get a Vaucheron Constantin self winding. Costs less and has three easily changeable straps. Easy strap extension mechanism. Better presentation box. Also the blue dial version is increasing in value if that's someone's main aim. Yachtmaster? I honestly can't see the point in this version or even the gold.

Beautiful watch but the name Yacht Master has always wreaked of pretentious to me. Not sure I can wear it because of that,. Don't own a yacht, never will. A sub would be great in this size and style.

I actually like the flared rubber strap but I don't like how the date window is now misplaced at a shorter radius than the hour markers. On the Rolex website they hide this pretty well but in your video, it's obvious and for me, a no-go.

The errors and dust on the dial are highly suspicious. I would pop the case back and verify the finish to make sure it's legit bro.
Great video. In terms of the watch - quality control was bound to slip as Rolex are spending all their money on social media stars who have made the brand what it is today. As Federico and Bark & Jack have discussed: social media is ruining watches.
Yeah same with Omega - rather they used money to improve QC than marketing and Bond movie placement
Are Audemars, GS, Vacheron and Patek spending all their money on social media stars too? Cause their dials sure have flaws under the macro too.. bear in mind these are high horology brands bar GS.

Your content is great, but could have cleaned up the watch before sitting. Lots of gunk on the cyclists and the straps need a wipe down.
Apologies. I didn’t realise that until I shot all the clips and sat down to process the clips on my computer screen. That dust is hardly noticeably when working off in real life but shows as massive turn down when viewed on 4K and larger screens. Will be working on it going forward 👍
The bracelet is metal. It’s covered in rubber, though. Hence the “flex” in the name but it’s not just made of “elastomer” or whatever...there’s a steel core. That’s why Rolex calls it Oysterflex BRACELET.
My VSF looks better than this gen 😂

I have seen many of your reviews with pristine watches and I can tell by the plastic on the case and the dust on the rubber bracelet this watch is not in pristine condition.

My 41 mm sub feels so good on a wrist, but that yacht master would be to big for my hand. I do have an Omega seamaster on ruber and I like it, but still sub feels better.
Beautiful watch with a great size…but kinda boring. I had it for about six months and decided to trade it towards a new AP Offshore 44mm Chronograph in titanium 26400IO. Couldn’t be happier with my decision
Great decision there... I have the blue dial 40mm and Im very happy with that piece. At $12K its a decent piece, But at the price range of this one, there are better options out there. Perfect example is that RO Offshore. By far a nicer watch. I even rather get a Fifty Fathoms instead.
This is a sleeper, but still, as usual difficult to buy at retail
