Thank you for sharing! I am actually trying to rest a channel this year and everything you talked about was very helpful! Wishing you lots of luck for 2024!
Love what you're doing so far I definitely showed up from your laser videos, so it'd be nice if you could do even 1 or 2 videos of the projects that sell easy, like what you're doing with your wood working videos
Hi Are, Thanks for a very informative video about your journey with youtube. It gives a lot of inspiration to a "small channel" like mine, that it can actually succeed if you are patient and persistent
Thanks for the tips. I too will be starting a channel soon. I'm looking at as many angles as I can. For as much info as I can get. Fingers cross they don't crucify me. 😂😅
Thanks for the insights! Is it safe to say that these numbers are a supplemental income and that you have a "primary income" coming from somewhere else? I only ask out of curiosity as I often wonder if you-tubers are 100% full time or if they use the channel as a way add to a primary income.
Definitely a supplemental income for now. I also sell woodworking projects and furniture locally, and have another side job in addition. But I invest as much time and effort as possible into the channel, as the goal is to go full-time. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing. It’s got to be a little nerve racking letting personal information like that out. How do you make your plans that you sell? Digital? Paper? Do you design them yourself?
Yes, for sure! But I know it has been helpful for me when other creators have made videos like this. I design the plans myself. Make the model in sketchup, then I make a PDF with screenshots, cut charts, measurements, and instructions.
Interesting info…I enjoy your videos. Did I understand if I buy anything from Amazon using your affiliate link you get a commission? If so how do I use your affiliate link?
Thank you! Yup, that’s correct. I have some links for tools in the description of all my videos. If you click on one of those and buy anything, I get a commission.
