I’ve been serious into these for about 5 years now. They’re a way different animal to the V8’s, you need to rev it out to get peak power. Rev it past 7K, don’t be shy. It’s designed for it. All the fun is up top. Also these can have their fair share of problems. Expect it to burn oil, and they do take premium so make sure you give it the proper fuel. They’re performance engines. These are getting rare also but parts are pretty available. I recommend getting into the Facebook groups they help a ton
Wow such a great car i went to the junk yard down here in Florida today to grab some spare parts for my sitting Prelude that needs some work it made me kinda sad seeing the junked ones rotting. They mostly gut these heavy Preludes for the highly coveted H22A engines to swap them out into a lighter civic.

Which is sad because the Preludes handle way better. These were designed to be sports cars with superior suspension and a low profile
I have on I love them but they suck to work on and the mpg is not good
