the last piece of footage was just amazing. never seen anything like it
That was insane, the amount of water that just dropped out of that cloud 😮 just wow
Amazing video, if anyone asks what a microburst is that is a perfect video to watch!
The most incredible I’ve ever seen.
Genuine rain bomb
@@mathewhale3581agreed.
That Perth Airport timelapse was FANTASTIC 👍
That last video is one of the best visuals of a microburst I’ve seen!
Legend has it that that trampoline is still rolling to this very day
The last one was amazing, best footage I have ever seen, thank you for showing this ❤ nsw
Seen big storms down round the shoalhaven and highlands don’t think for a minute your safe any where.
OMG! This is incredible to watch.
I like to think its the same trampoline flying from Caliundra west down to Morayfield😂😂.
Seriously some amazing videos!
Growing up in the west suburbs of Chicago and having been through some decent storms including striking distance of an F5 and quite a few EF3 and lower tornadoes, the Australian storms are nothing to joke about and darn impressive!
The Flying Trampoline was unexpected ;D
We are happy you enjoyed the edit.
Was it the same trampoline in both clips?
@@christopherreed4723 Different one.
Great compilation. For those not used to this kind of weather it must be very scary. Being in the Top End I have often had to drive to and from work seeing as much as that guy was able to see. It’s terrifying. Our wet season storms are like those featured on here, and can be really frightening. Thanks to all who captured these images.
On my very first driving lesson when I was a teen, I was in the back blocks of Perth and a huge down pour like this happened. The street and anything further than a metre just disappeared. I had to pull over and wait for it to end. A real baptism of fire!
Kane Artie's work is literally the bomb.
The last footage was the bomb perfection 👌
The plastic chair: "don't mind me!" 😂😂😂
Last video is the best. Insane!
Awe-inspiring is what comes to mind. Those were just amazing to watch. I could watch all day.
You've got to love Aussies. In the middle of a severe nightmare condition!!
Perth footage at the end; looked exactly like mammatus cloud but intersecting with ground instead of at their usual couple thousand feet. Awesome.
Love QLD during storm season
Yer Brisbane is amazing during storm season . but xmas last year gave us a taste of how bad they can get with a lot of damage and a few lives lost ...
Indeed this is some amazing footage of downbursts there from that Perth Airport timelapse.
0:08 this is why you secure them!
Lmao good luck with that wind speed, had a friend tie hers down with massive spikes and the wind just ripped the frame apart and took that it could
Nice. Weather is ominous yet fascinating. ⛈
I love hearing an aussie curse 🤣
Australians cursing Part 1…
0:40 perfect example of a dry microburst. dry microbursts are more common than wet microbursts but they dont get documented or spoken about as much because they are hard to see
People would mistake that for a strong gust front
Great video
0:10 That dang trampoline went from Kimberley Lauder's back years in Caloundra West to.... 2:35 Murray Richards back yard in Morray Field hahahahahaha😂
Please explain exactly who these people are.
wow that 3rd one was savage
Very cool footage, unfortunately I will never have footage like this to share because I live in Adelaide, the weather is so mild.
I went through one of these a month ago, I was camping, we had to escape to the car and our camper trailer lifted off its chocks and half the poles were bent, 7 decent sized trees went down around the park through the storm and a small fishing boat was sunk
That chair really had comedy timing 😂
Love this compilation, the quality and visuals in that last clip is *chefs kiss* 🤌🏾
Thanks for sharing, looking forward to seeing more!
We are working hard to support our talented Australian contributors. Both public and professional.
Storms these days, they look so much more angry then I remember growing up in the 80s and 90s
In victoria i would say the weather in general is less extreme and calmer than when i was a kid also a lot colder.
@@yesterdayschunda1760I guess that you should ask scientists about your statement
@@imtheeastgermanguy5431 Same ones who said the covid vaccines were safe?
Tornado confirmed Nth GC 25 /12/23
@@imtheeastgermanguy5431 Same scientists that say sea levels are rising when they haven't risen since records began? lol global warming is a scam, I was told in school there would be no ice caps by 2020.
These mammatus clouds look huge!
The Perth airport footage one of the best I've seen hands down
i'd be the happiest man alive to see something like the last clip
I've had the honour of being in quite a few different types of weather in my life but I don't think I've ever been in a microburst.
But watching these videos was good enough for me. What I did find mildly amusing was at the start a trampoline went flying off somewhere and later on we see another trampoline flying over a house, my brain decided it was the same one and thought "That traveled a long way!" 🥴
I can see some channel taking Kitty's video and putting it into a "10 ghosts caught on camera" compilation, that would be stupid!
I had the misfortune of driving through a microburst. Scariest time of my life, I couldn’t see a thing and there where branches and all sorts flying into my car, a power transformer was sparking and going crazy just a few meters away. I pulled over and didn’t move until the storm was well and truly gone & I stopped shaking lol. This was only a few years ago
Awesome man, wow
Theyre pretty terrifying irl and they come nearly instantly
I've been through an official tornado (afaik) in 2008 as a postie while delivering mail. It felt like most of this it was raining, I got cover under a carport, owner of house said get inside, a minute later nothing except some drops of rain a little breeze, and my postie ct110 bike 300 metres down the road with the owner of the house carports roof.
yeah, this is the average Australian winter when a "storm" rolls in, it's not even a storm, it's more like slight drizzle.
0:09 trampoline went “YEET”
2:55 since when hurricanes have down bursts
Wow, did you see that Dropbear with the parachute in the third video?
The last clip with multiple microbursts following one after the other was astonishing.
WHen the first lady exclaimed about her trampoline just leaving the yard... Then later on in the video another guy captures a trampoline strolling across a roof... I laughed that it could be the same trampoline! 🤔🤣 John BC Canada
😂😂😂
Legend has it the trampoline flew across the sea and made it all the way to New Zealand.
Yo!, the Feb 13th (2024) storm that obliterated trees everywhere was fuckin' WILD man!
Wow
Man made storms
It's got everyone in a spin
Nature!!!
Nature at its best , the last video was awesome.
Perth Airport at the end WOW
I didn’t think Australia got anything like this wow
Kane Artie wins, that Perth airport storm was incredible!
This was very entertaining especially the last half lol & WTF 😳 Perths littoral rainbomb
Grab shell dude!
0:21 that’s probably the scariest thing I’ve ever seen 😮
I might have a heart attack if I saw that
Love the footage bring on PT2 and more.
A lot more in the series to come
Watching these, particularly the last one makes me realise just how dangerous microbursts are to aircraft, particularly when they are landing or taking off.
Insane weather in Australia, just glad we don't get such gnarly weather here in UK.
Oh c'mon, live a little lol ;)
If you're wondering what happened to the trampoline in the beginning of the video at 0:07 it ended up at 2:36 about 50km/30 miles away from were it took flight:)
Thankyou 😊🇦🇺 4:16
Before it broke( Perth airport clip) all of that water/rain was floating above us in the clouds! As all rain does, but what about gravity?
Geoengieering is what’s happening! The weather hasn’t been normal for 4 years now
More like 15 years, you are correct.
Perth for the win! I drove through a similar one not far from the Airport, tho it was years earlier, somewhere around 2014 I think. Got dashcam footage somewhere.
@2:16 monstrous of a storm wow Holy crap
2:30
I've been in a microburst 3 times as a kid between ages 4-6 and I thought that was what is called "Heavy rain" and only learnt 2 months ago that it was indeed heavy rain but it was sudden because of a microburst, not because Heavy rain is sudden.
I remember a microburst happened to my family when we were visiting our grandparents in Alabama.
Me and my little sister were watching the TV when the channel cut out. There was a storm above.
So we were rushed to the basement and I was freaking out because I thought there was a tornado.
Turns out it was a microburst.
It took down some huge trees and luckily it didn't hit anyone's house (we were out in the country btw).
We went to the backyard (they had chickens) and they were all fine. A huge Branch from a tree fell into the pen and they were trying to escape from it.
It was scary but now I think it would be cool.
I been caught in one while strapped into a 14m kite on the beach, needless to say I went flying and broke several bones
Oh my God Crazy
Uuuh why are like more than half of these from qld ._. I live there
Perth airport.....holy.....wow
I remember when we had a microburst that slammed us in Wollongong NSW was working that night at a restraunt when it came down had the Tasmanian Jack Jumpers NBL team in and we lost power got soaked holding the doors open for the wedding party at the function center then had to go clean up the restraunt my phone died as I was trying to clean the floors had no exhaust fan the wood fire grill so the restraunt filled with smoke everyone left I was there till 10:30pm just after I left the power was able to come on one of the guys I worked with got smoke in the lungs yeah was a hectic night
I always think of Woolongong fondly because of Norman Gunston's patriotic song.
'Raise your heads high
See a burnt sienna sky
Land so free of trees
You may laugh, say we pong
But to me it's Wollongong
Wollongong the Brave' 🎶
Kane Artie's "bags 'o water"
is the winner.
Is there a full video dedicated to the last clip or any more details? As a weather enthusaist who has seen countless videos of this stuff, this was some of the most noteable footage I've ever seen
That is a longer version. This was slowed down from the original.
@SevereWeatherAustralia ah ok right so they had an even quicker timelapse? If possible could you point me to the original source please?
We had 40mm in about an hour last month. Literally just a hard storm, lightning every second and rain so hard you couldn't see 5m away. 15 minutes later it was fine.
I live in Australia.. these are.. familiar to me ;)
3:20 I have never seen anything like that!
I can hear the news reports for each of these in my head “mini cyclone or mini tornado” 😂
All Like a gd Summer storm in the Pilbara
0:09 Bye Trampoline
2:53 paranormal activity
3:33 celestial being attack
A última imagem é um Downburst!
