Great stuff, thanks for sharing those. I find the sheer volume of plugins available quite hard to keep track of, especially since everyone seems to have their favourites! It’s also a challenge to keep the plugin list minimal so you don’t end up with 700 plugins on a brochure site, let alone working out how to price your care package for clients!
My main objection to these TOC plug-ins is that they typically change the URL in the address bar upon click; thereby hijacking the browser history / back button. Is that the case with JOLI? Or is it pure JS? Thanks for the great content.
Give it a go on my site here. It adds to the URL but my back button works fine. wagepirate.com/review/funnelkit-automations/ I feel like you'd want it in the URL though so you could link to that section on the page?
From testing, it actually seems to work exactly how I would want it to work When you click one of the items in the TOC it adds it to the URL with a #, for example wagepirate.com/review/funnelkit-automations/#what-i-need-from-an-activecampaign-alternative-and-how-funnelkit-automations-solves-this And I can share this URL with someone and when the visit it they are auto scrolled to that section on the page But when you click the back button, it ignores all the TOC items you clicked on and goes back to the actual previous URL (which is what you explained you want) So seems to work how well
@@GrantAmbrose Yes, indeed! I can confirm this user flow in Safari Mac. Thank you for getting back brother. I'm gonna give Joli a whirl! (PS: I just DM'd you on FB. I have a question on a collab opportunity.) Peace.

Simpler the better!
