Thanks for the information. You just change the capacitor (400v available) and it works right? I don't understand why Dewalt make it with your method, you converted it to free-volt.
Making it free volt will make it not very efficient, as for lower voltage it requires a bigger capacitor and taking so twice the space, it is just one capacitor to be changed and you either have it 230 or 120v. In this case it works with 230v but also less effectively with half the power in 120v

these chargers after conversion work fine, no problems with that
Did you place any additional resistors on the side of the capacitor? Since I see that other boards of the DCB1104 model do not have those resistors.

Have you also tried charging a 60V battery?
Not with this one, but there isn't any reason it wouldn't charge it
