    Peep does not get enough credit. He made being emo cool again. He put a fresh spin on a dying genre and was truly one of a kind. He was so influential

      I never thought emo rap/singing was a dying genre. After all most of the popular musicians of the 2010s were influenced by the genre. Although I got to say being in the emo genre in 2020s is not looking good for upcoming artists sins mainstream people think it’s corny to be emo.

      I still miss him. After all these years he was just so talented. I wish he survived the OD. But we can’t change the past as much as we wish we could sometimes

    Lil peep shaped me as a person, he gave me sensitivity that i wasn't been learned in my home. He opened my eyes when i was struggle with the depression and anxiety, he showed me that even with disabilties in my head, i can be something more than just a loser without perspective. Rest up peep, a pure legend and definitely the most important artist in my entire life.

      @@TechnicalDifficulties he lives on with us all who love him and still listen to him. I'm probably one of the few females with his crybaby tattoo. I've seen many guys but not many girls with it. I plan to get the words "come over when you're sober" tattooed as it holds so much meaning to me. I found him right before he passed as I myself was getting sober. His music has helped me soo much. I have 7yrs sober of hard drugs now.

    Lil Peep together with the Sound cloud emo rap movement of the late 2010s has been the last significant musical movement up to this date i dont know if there will ever be another one.

    I used to listen to lil peep all the time and I even dyed my hair pink and black and my older sister helped me do the tattoos on his face and stuff. He really inspired me to become emo. I listen to Not as emo rap now and I listen to things like Tyler the creator. I often go back to his amazing music but I remain wearing emo tomboy stuff, although I am one of the goofiest person to be around. I love lil peep for inspiring me to get an idea of new styles I could’ve discovered.

      That’s awesome, also you got the same tattoos as him?

    • @callydahl8638
      @callydahl8638 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@TechnicalDifficulties no for Halloween she used eyeliner to draw the tattoos. I definitely wouldn’t get tattoos all over my face and body personally

    I hated lil peep when he was buzzing around in highschool 2016 (*Music at the time sounded like it was produced in the most disgusting bathrooms in america)
    He passed away 2 days before I graduated basic training 2017 (RIP)
    I just started listening to him 2023 because rap has fallen off the face of the earth and wow man’s was really….. REALLY ahead of his time.
    Cudi, XXX., Peep were true pioneers of sad emotional rap.
    The only song or person that I can think about that made anything emotional on the level that any of those artists ever did would be Biggie Smalls suicidal thoughts.
    Rest easy Gus, Live on forever LiL peep!!!!
