And this all began from a silly jumping cube jumping and dashing over blocks, triangular spikes and whatnot by the rhythm of some electronic, dubstep and related music. Simply amazing how far Robtop and this community has come for this past decade. Simply amazing, bravo to you all! 👏 👌 ❤

tbh this was my favorite part of the entire 10th anniversary, even more than the release date of 2.2, its so well made and represents what this community has done so well along with the vibe each bossfight gives off
Rafer truly outdid himself with this one and it’s probably one of the best things he’s ever done (also lchavasse made amazing music for this)

I’ll be honest, I’ve been on and off with GD for a couple years but I was NOT going to miss the 10 year anniversary of this game. 2.1 came out when I was starting middle school and I am now starting college in a few days. Watching this live was absolutely amazing. The incredible animation, banger music, and nostalgic throwbacks to bosses paired with an October release date for 2.2 has me INSANELY HYPED!!!! Absolutely amazing job with everyone involved with the now OFFICIAL ANIMATION of GD! I love to see the community still going this hard and strong after 10 years! ❤️

As far as I can tell, the bulk of the work on the animation overall was done by Rafer, Lchavasse, and Viprin. Rafer for the visuals, Lchavasse for the music and sound effects, and Viprin for some direction I believe.

He started in fall 2022, but progress was a little slow at first. From December 2022 all the way to the first week of August 2023, he worked pretty much nonstop, so it was 8 months of very hard work. I think it shows in the amazing quality 🔥

its just so good, because it is a short animation. If you want to get a show (like arcane for example), you need a community big enough, 6 years animation time and an endless amout of money.
I just hope, they bring out other short animations with a lot of details like this.
