Only thing I don’t like about the vegan is the crease . It looks like when a car is wrapped and the wrap is sticking out all bubbly . Like a plastic layer

Thank you for your Video. I've been toying with getting myself a new pair of DM as my leather pair are getting a bit worn out after having them for about 8 years. I really liked a pair of Vegan Purple rub offs, I saw in the Black Friday sales, but realise now they'd probably be a poor comparison.

I used to always wear 1461s and was really excited when the vegan ones came out but they cause me to get really painful corns as they are narrower. I don’t know why.
That’s sad to hear.. vegans do not stretch. Did you try going to size up?
Dr.Marten's leather is bad in general. It's thin. It has loose fiber structure(that's why it's comfortable wear them out of the box. Just cheap leather in general. It's an iconic boot without a doubt but leather qulity is low. Vegan(synthetic) leather has to be worse. At least beacause your foot will not breath well. In theory vegan should break faster under different weather conditions.
Anyway we all should buy what we like.
So you are saying that dr martens are not worth the price?
Rose Anvil's TH-cam channel shows real leather is much more durable. And I can attest to this myself, having a pair of New Balance 993 for many years now and they are still wearable (pig skin in this case). So while people try to knock real leather for environmental impact, it's worth pointing out they are much more durable and last longer.

I prefer the natural leather ones, mostly cuz the vegan ones add even more non-biodegradable synthetic plastics into the world. From what I’ve read, the process of producing synthetic materials like PVC or PU (which is what the vegan docs are likely made of) also typically uses even more energy than natural leather processes. 🥲 so neither one is good for the environment, but I guess everything has its pros and cons
Yeah.. it's a complex topic.. each has its pros and cons.. my main thing is to do what makes you comfortable and less of trying to force people to one side
I don’t think the environment would be a big issue when you consider the cows get rammed with 3 foot metal poles up their ass to get impregnated
Or maybe the male cows that get killed as soon as they are born are a little more lucky than the female ones that get raped

@@cameron2900x Regenerative agriculture and keeping the herds together is the way to go to keep the farm happy. The babies can suckle from their Moms and there bulls can do their thing. Greg Judy has a good channel to show how this is done and he keeps his cattle in one herd and on the farmland (out of lots and sheds) 365 days on the year with daily moves to a fresh new salad bar.
