2.3 lac on road price and you get a 6 speed transmission, liquid cooling, ride by wire, adjustable levers, golden USD forks, dual channel abs with ride modes, traction control, full led set up, digital console with turn by turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. Sounds like an easy decision to make
Very nice review, not many have spoken so much about the ride dynamics and the subtleties or where it feels more like a Pulsar and less like an NS or how it behaves in corners while hard braking. Good job, gives us a much better idea while we wait for a small test ride in high traffic area with the Speedo disconnected on brand new bikes. Bajaj has no concept of test ride bikes here in Bangalore. 2 months after 100s of videos came out on the n160, one of the main dealers was yet to receive their first bike, just to see, forget test ride.
Quite extensive technically corret & all cons listed. Super good. Thank you. Also one question @karanramgopal regarding the varients, will there hopefully be a X varient (ADV). I guess Bajaj do not have any offering in that segment. Barring the KTM ADV, thay don't have their own brand associated with Adv's
Glad you enjoyed the review. As far as your question is concerned, Bajaj hasn’t shed any light on what the other variants will be, but they tell us that we should get more information in the coming months.
For people who need more speed and little mileage, and are ok with little less acceleration, get a touring sprocket. And also change tyres to Apollo H1.
Been watching a few of these this morning- really good review. Covered most of my qns with minimal fuss. Just one further qn- handling and engine refinement-wise, how does it compare with the Speed 400? That's the benchmark I'm comparing it with.
The two offer very different riding experiences despite what the spec-sheet suggests. The Triumph is the the more refined of the two. And it also gets better braking and chassis components. Then there’s the styling which is poles apart.
Glad you enjoyed the video. As far as your points are concerned, all of these would have significantly added to the cost, reducing the VFM proposition.
Actually most of the riders don't need super excellent performance. That is why Bajaj gives very practical bikes to their customers. For example the P220 is not better than many motorcycles like the R15 and many more. But 90% plus customers will be happier with the P220 than the R15 because of its practical nature of riding position, good performance and very very low maintenance. In that way this NS400 providing many more with this price points. Otherwise KTM providing superior quality of performance in the segment. But very few of us is hard core riders.
The reason why you didn't like the handling might be because of 2 additional things - reduced wheelbase and soft rear suspension. Correct me if I am wrong here
If you want something with a little more performance and more aggressive styling, you should consider the NS400Z. If you want a more relaxed riding experience with more subtle styling and will be commuting more often than anything else, the N250 is the better option
250 N mat lena koi future ni hai uska, pehle launch hue fir gayab ab fir agai. Dominar is way more established than 250n. parts be cycle hote hai ns200, Rs200 and ns400z k dominar se, so it would better to go with ns400z

The rider in the video is 5-foot ten-inches and he was plenty comfortable. The bike should be fairly comfortable for a 6-foot 1-inch rider as well.
