@@AndysVrReviews I managed to get it working. I just logged into steam vr and downloaded and played roblox most simple thing ever. I think you should make a tutorial on it because so many people are trying to play roblox vr but they don't have powerful computers.

I can't do this, the keyboard does not open in order to enter data. Tried with different browsers and didn't work. I had to do everything together with a computer. how can i solve the problem? Thanks for watching! There is a menu in desktop vision I believe on the left side of the screen that you could open up by clicking it and that will give you an option to open a keyboard. Hope that helps!
I'm assuming this is cloud gaming processing? Because there's no way that a phone could power this. How is the latency? And can you treat Oculus store content the same way?
Yes, the phone is used to 1) download sidequest onto your quest and 2) operate the virtual pc. The gameplay is actually playable, if you go to the end of the video you can see some Half Life Alyx gameplay I captured while playing on it. I personally used Steam but there should be no issue downloading the Oculus app and Oculus content, I just prefer Steam and steam VR because it’s already preloaded to the virtual machine.
@@AndysVrReviews yes I do but every time I finally click on the plutosphere client and get into the steam vr screen I am not able to click anything on the menu screen including the desktop button
Hmm that’s weird, I am not sure what it could be. You should ask on their Discord, I’m sure they could give you an easy solution. Here’s a link: discord.com/invite/plutosphere
If you are using a mobile device it has to be an android, the sidequest app isn’t available for IOS yet. If you don’t have an android phone you could either buy one from Walmart for $39 and then return it once PlutoSphere is installed and use your iPhone to operate PlutoSphere or use / borrow a family members computer once to install PlutoSphere via sidequest.
The first time you would need to use a computer or Android phone (if you are using a Mac it would be fine) but afterwards you could launch the virtual computer on an iPhone.
Sorry, I didn’t get a notification for your original reply. Create the Steam account using your phone or a friend / family members computer. You only want to login on the virtual computer.
With your virtual desktop open, try going to desktop.vision in another tab. Your virtual desktop should automatically show the virtual computer and from there it should run better. You could also bring up a keyboard by pressing the green tab on the left of the screen.
You buy time on it, similar to if you rented a gaming pc from rent-a-center. They charge between $1 and $2 for each hour of time the virtual computer is turned on. A game like Half Life Alyx has a 20 hour campaign so it would end up costs about $30 to play through it. This is a lot better of an alternative for some people who can’t afford a pc capable of PCVR which in most cases would cost you thousands of dollars. If you would like to try it out for free I would suggest visiting their discord, they give out tons of tokens for free on a daily basis.
Hey so the only problem I have is that you need coins in order to play, you can only get free coins once every week, so we have to constantly buy coins
Yea, I mean it stinks but they have to be able to pay a team of developers, aws server costs, etc. The free tokens are a good way to tell if you like it though and at $1-$2 an hour seems worth it.
It actually worked a lot better than I thought but I had less than an hour on it if not an hour and the annoying thing is I have to wait a whole week before my tokens fill up again yes I know I could purchase more but the thing is how do I know I can exactly trust this And not have it steal my bank details and all that if I try to purchase more?
They have legit like 100,000 people using the program and the program itself is worth tons of money. Why ruin it by stealing peoples card info? Not to mention, when you enter card info on websites it doesn’t go to the website admin, it goes to a payment gateway like stripe which is worth hundreds of millions of dollars. It’s secure but if you are worried you could always get by with the free few hours of tokens they give out each week.
I apologize if I came across rude at all, my intention is just to explain how trustworthy they are. I’d recommend using the free coins first to make sure you like it.
I still dont get how to do STEP ONE bro i need a specific explanation on how to connect it bc i have a usb cable but when i go on my oculus i dont see “allow” anywhere and im just COMPLETELY confused on how to do it with wifi can i get a more specific explanation this is frustrating me.
Once your quest is plugged into your phone (with sidequest open on your phone) “allow” should show up from within the headset. If it doesn’t usually that means developer mode hasn’t been turned on correctly. From within the headset go to “settings” then “developer” and make sure USB dialog is toggled on. I have a newer video on this that might be more helpful as well. th-cam.com/video/Ue4qfEMnELA/w-d-xo.html
Not right out of the box. Once you had it set up you could launch the virtual computer on a chrome book but to download sidequest you would need to do some extra steps. I don’t know much about chrome books but if you have access to the Google play store you could download the Sidequest beta app on there.
Pluto Sphere is still in beta so you might have to tinker with it a bit. I’d recommend turning your virtual computer off and back on again. It won’t take as long as the first time it booted up since it has already been connected. Should only take a couple minutes.
Do you have developer mode turned on and do you allow it from within the headset? If so and it’s still not working maybe ask on the sidequest discord, here’s a link: discord.gg/2bnUvpgQ
You don’t turn on your headset until you are ready to launch steam vr. If the virtual computer won’t connect to desktop vision try to x off and reopen it a couple times. If that still doesn’t work turn the virtual computer off and back on again and try a couple more times. If it still doesn’t work after that try and use desktop vision on another device like your smartphone. Since PlutoSphere is installed already you could use a iPhone or Android.
@@AndysVrReviews I'm so sorry for asking all of these questions but desktop vision doesnt load on my android phone and my vr wouldn't let me open steam or steam vr
That means that dev mode might not be probably turned on. Create a dev account here: developer.oculus.com/sign-up/ using the same Facebook your quest is under. Also make sure USB dialog is enabled by going to System > Developer > Enable USB Dialog inside of your headset and make sure it’s turned on.
What issue are you seeing? You can’t create a Steam account using the virtual computer (something to do with the IP address) but you should be able to sign in no issue. What error is coming up?

If you don’t have an android phone you could either buy one from Walmart for $39 and then return it once PlutoSphere is installed and use your iPhone to operate PlutoSphere or use / borrow a family members computer once to install PlutoSphere via sidequest.
When I try to log in to steam the keypad to type my username doesn’t show is they away round this?
There should be a tab on the left of the screen and when clicked an option for a keypad should appear.
Does this work on iOS too? If so, can I have the download link?
The first time you would need to use a computer or Android phone (if you are using a Mac it would be fine) but afterwards you could launch the virtual computer on an iPhone.
What is best regipn?
I can't register on the steam vr app it says disabled vpns and proxies and I don't have any
Are you trying to create the Steam account using the virtual computer? If so, that would be the issue.
yes
@@AndysVrReviews yes is there another way?
Sorry, I didn’t get a notification for your original reply. Create the Steam account using your phone or a friend / family members computer. You only want to login on the virtual computer.
@@AndysVrReviews I did it and it worked thank you
Thx bro now I can play boneworks
Glad to help!
I'm confused I'm not getting any coins even though there not trying to fix a bug right now. Can someone explain to me what's going on
when i launch it and get in on my virtual desktop it wont let me click anything on my phone
With your virtual desktop open, try going to desktop.vision in another tab. Your virtual desktop should automatically show the virtual computer and from there it should run better. You could also bring up a keyboard by pressing the green tab on the left of the screen.
@@AndysVrReviews thx just figured it out love your vids btw
Glad you were able to figure it out and thanks for watching! Your support means a lot!
I can’t download side quest on my iPhone
What do you mean when it’s a 1$ a hour so is it ever time I play the game I have to spend a dollar
Do my phone have to be plugged up when I play or cab I unplug it?
You can unplug it, your phone only needs to be plugged in the first time to install Pluto sphere.
@@AndysVrReviews it says I have to verify my account but my phone number is already used
Hey so the only problem I have is that you need coins in order to play, you can only get free coins once every week, so we have to constantly buy coins
Yea, I mean it stinks but they have to be able to pay a team of developers, aws server costs, etc. The free tokens are a good way to tell if you like it though and at $1-$2 an hour seems worth it.
So we do have to buy the games before we can play them? Ok. I'm down for that
Yes, you do. This just acts as a gaming pc for you to use. Check my channel for an updated video that lays it out way better.
It won't steal anything I know that cause I bought coins myself
@@lol-uo4tk I mean it’s just that I am very big trust issues when it comes to websites I’ve never heard before and all that you know
They have legit like 100,000 people using the program and the program itself is worth tons of money.
@@AndysVrReviews oh I didn’t know that
I apologize if I came across rude at all, my intention is just to explain how trustworthy they are. I’d recommend using the free coins first to make sure you like it.
Can you connect with link cable
I still dont get how to do STEP ONE bro i need a specific explanation on how to connect it bc i have a usb cable but when i go on my oculus i dont see “allow” anywhere and im just COMPLETELY confused on how to do it with wifi can i get a more specific explanation this is frustrating me.
I connected the usb cable to the oculus and the android and i dont see allow anywhere
This is crazy bro 😮
Does voice chat in games like phasmophobia work?
I honestly have no idea, I don’t see why not though.
Would this work if i turned this on a PC Chrome?
I’m not sure what you mean by PC Chrome? Do you mean opening the virtual computer through Chrome as the browser? If so, then yes.
@@AndysVrReviews would it work on chrome book
Not right out of the box. Once you had it set up you could launch the virtual computer on a chrome book but to download sidequest you would need to do some extra steps. I don’t know much about chrome books but if you have access to the Google play store you could download the Sidequest beta app on there.
Do I need to pay for the tokens or do I get 600 every hour?
Get it every hour
@@Ran_domzz nope
@@Dasherrgtag I know I was messing with you
When i go to create a steam account it only lets me enter one letter what do i do?
Don’t create the Steam account through PlutoSphere, create it off of the virtual desktop and just login on Steam.
Do you need virtual desktop?
No
I have a weak network, will it work?
No, probably not. It might be worth trying though. You might be able to get some free tokens on their Discord.
Do i get tokens every day still?
If you were part of the early access program I believe you still get 800 per week for free.
Oh that sad i wana play but i am not part of the early access a i guesing some one already won u giv a way 😢☹️
You could check out their discord, they give out a ton of tokens almost every day for free.
@@AndysVrReviews okay thanks 😊
I have a question, why won’t it load when I try going to steam?
Pluto Sphere is still in beta so you might have to tinker with it a bit. I’d recommend turning your virtual computer off and back on again. It won’t take as long as the first time it booted up since it has already been connected. Should only take a couple minutes.
Does this only work on oculus quest 2?
It should work on the Quest 1 as well.
It’s taking way longer than 15 minutes to connect, why is it not connecting?
It should not take longer then that. You should visit their discord and ask what might be happening. Here’s a link: discord.com/invite/plutosphere
The keyboard isng working for logging into steam
I tried this before sidequest will not connect through my phone and it is an android
Do you have developer mode turned on and do you allow it from within the headset? If so and it’s still not working maybe ask on the sidequest discord, here’s a link: discord.gg/2bnUvpgQ
You look like you didnt sleep for a week
Bro is trying to be the clown lol
?? @@abo-sb7h
Are all the games free or do you have to pay for the games??
You have to pay for the games, same as if it was your own gaming pc.
@@AndysVrReviews my desktop vision doesn't connect. Do I need to keep my vr on or can I have it off??
Never mind i have got it sorted
theres nothing on my headset that says for me to connect my phone
That means that dev mode might not be probably turned on. Create a dev account here: developer.oculus.com/sign-up/ using the same Facebook your quest is under. Also make sure USB dialog is enabled by going to System > Developer > Enable USB Dialog inside of your headset and make sure it’s turned on.
@@AndysVrReviews thanks!
I can't sign in to steam why
What issue are you seeing? You can’t create a Steam account using the virtual computer (something to do with the IP address) but you should be able to sign in no issue. What error is coming up?
