I thought it was obvious that in "The Sucker," Darwin was just PRETENDING to be stupid to mess with Julius.
Gumball Watterson is legitimately my favorite protagonist in any animated show ever. Why: Because of how relatable he is. Now I'm not saying he's relatable in terms of financial situation or social problems like say Spider-Man, but he's relatable to me personality wise.
He's a guy who makes poor choices, and many mistakes throughout the show, but at the end of the day he's still a good person. Sure he's mischievous, cocky, and sometimes a bit too egotistical for his own good, but that's what a lot of kids are at that age. On the other hand he's also very caring, he loves people so much, and in the end he tries to do what he thinks is best. He's a character that I can laugh with, be mad with, cry with, and so on.
He's a deeply flawed character who at the end of the day is still lovable. That's what makes him so special to me.
I know everyone think's Darwin is cute and adorable and all and I do too, but I stand by the belief that if Gumball wasn't written as well as he was, the show wouldn't have lasted long.
Gumball was a pretty Nostalgic cartoon back in 2011 when I was 14-15 years olds next to Regular Show and Adventure Time! seriously, These three shows were very legendary in the 2010's era!

Emotional Episode, I felt bad for Richard ONLY, Gumball’s eh, always an asshole, not surprised, I wish Darwin grew a back fin bone, and Nicole and Anais, Toxic Parenting and Child Abuse is one thing, these 2 tainted an emotional episode acting like Misandrists/Toxic Feminists
Not even amount of emotions can cover the fact how this episode is the worst in the show

I totally agree with you The Christian Show, The Hero is without a doubt the worst episode of Season 2 and the *WORST* appearance Nicole and Anais has ever had in the entire series so far. I really wish that my favorite boy Gumball would just *blows up* at his family and calls Anais and Nicole out for all of the bullshit they've put him and Darwin through, all because they'd wanted him and Darwin to appreciate his so-called "parents", and to add in insults and injury, Richard wasn't really a hero to begin with, he was just a bumbling Dad that loves him everytimes he looks up to him. And Gumball also should've snap at Darwin for being such a toxic bad friend to him who _for some reason_ was directly responsible for putting him and his Dad in danger at the junkyard, which was a *VERY* dangerous thing to do, an adopted best friend wouldn't do that to his buddy, as proven in heartwarming endings on episodes like _"The Third" "The Picnic"_ and _"The Words"_
😞Man.... after years of being locked out of the house by someone who steal his life, being laughed at, his friends and even his adopted buddy turning on him, nearly abused by his parents and _literally_ denied on food and the shower, Gumball is going to need some _serious_ therapy and a really long talk with Penny about his living rotten hell he had to go through. That poor kid really has to stand up for himself rather then being snarky and sarcastic.
As the TH-camr "The One & Only C. R. Martin" put it:
"The Hero is what happens when you easily think you can sweep your transgressions under the rug and not bear the full brunt of the consequences. This is what happens when you try to contradict a certain type of emotion in your storytelling but only wind up digging a deeper hole for yourself. This is what happens when you degrade the integrity of the characters and betray their very defining foundation during said emotional contrivance. (...)
For that reason, it angers me that the Wattersons, who love and look out for each other, dysfunctions disagreements, and all, fall apart the worst way they did in this episode. The scene of Nicole and Anais lambasting Gumball and Darwin for a transgression that they themselves are guilty of and Nicole's disproportionate punishment of her sons will forever be associated with this episode in the worst possible way! It's so contradictory up to her general portrayal up to that point that you can't overlook it - no matter how hard the episode itself wants to.
More in that, on a similar note, I wouldn't be making such a big deal out of Nicole and Anais' role in the episode if it weren't this impactful. I wouldn't be making such a big deal of parental neglect, and child abuse weren't portrayed realistically. (...) I especially wouldn't be making such a big deal if the episode treated these common place issue with a diligence they deserved, but that's just it - it didn't!
Instead, it had to make way for a *sappy* emotional crutch that - on its own - is actually put together well, and *would've* worked better if the pacing was better. Or, you know, if the entire *episode* was *better!* It's such a shame because Richard's song is legitimately nice. With the soft melody from the piano, Dan Russell's gentle vocals, and the framing of the scene all encapsulating Richard's inadequacies as a father.
But does The Hero really deserve it? Oh fuck no! Not with the episode's sudden escalation and the song's actual placement being immediately after the unquestionably worst moment of the whole series - among the other flaws of the episode. No fucking way!
What's even sadder about this episode is that no one here except for Richard is likable. Well, that's not entirely true but it's hard to root for any of the characters, say for Richard and Darwin. I explained earlier how horrible Nicole was, and I should also mention that Anais' role, while comparably smaller than Nicole's, still contributes to the toxic tone. Darwin skirts the fine line between liked and hated due to being the usual second fiddle to his brother, yet redeeming himself half-way by taking agency and attempting to make reparations.
But Gumball...oh my God, GUMBALL! What the fuck is wrong with you kid?! What in the world happened to you that made you such a prideful obnoxious and dislikable runt?! I wanted to be on your side because you didn't deserve your mother's BS, but no, I'm not standing by your BS either. I'm not standing BS from ANY one of you!
Even though Gumball raised some very valid points about Richard, I really can't abide his behavior in the latter half, which just ruins any chance for sympathy he had.
...Because it's not enough to be saved from instant death, right? You gotta be saved the *right* way, too. (...) And no, episode, you don't deserve that ending either. Fuck you!
It has to take surgical attention to detail to leave 3/5ths of your main cast as bastardizations of who they are and render them detestable. But The Hero accomplished just that. But the scars of episodes such as this will never go away. The unpleasantness they've ungendered will always remain there, as much as the series rectifies itself, and The Hero will always be regarded for what it is: a black mark on an otherwise phenomenal series.
With likable characters hard to come by, a total betrayal of what's been set in stone, a contrivance of emotions without justification or any worthwhile payoff, an overarching toxicity and hypocrisy, all in clumsily paced 11-minute ordeal that can leave impressionable young audiences with terrifying prospects; The Hero is without a doubt the *worst* of The Amazing World of Gumball. Absolutely *disgusting!"*

The Amazing World of Gumball another one of my favorite shows of all time. Here are my thoughts on every season.
Season 1: I enjoy it for what it is but it's the season with the most flaws as the show is trying to find its identity. It has great episodes, good episodes, bland episodes, and bad episodes. It's the season I have the most nostalgia towards. I don't think it's as bad as some people say it is, but it doesn't hold a candle to the later ones.
Season 2: A vast improvement over the first season. Better episode quality, more consistency with the characters, better animation, more variety of humor, utilizes the characters better, better plots and stories, etc. It's a great and underrated season which helped push the show into the right direction.
Season 3: An Amazing season of Gumball. It takes the improvements season 2 made and amplifies them, while experimenting with the series status quo with more media humor. This is where gumball is reaching it peak.
Season 4: Another amazing season. While season 4 doesn't change up the series status quo in the same way seasons 2 & 3 did, it still maintains season 3's episode quality. I think this might be better than season 3 by a little bit.
Season 5: While I still like season 5 it's not as strong as season 2-4. The episode quality is tied with season 2 but I have some issues with how some of the characters are handled, along with the media humor and social commentary being overused at points especially in the second half of season 5.
Season 6: I still enjoy this season, but I find it weaker than season 2-5. It has the same things that bothered me with season 5 but amplified on top of having a weaker episode quality.
Personal Season Ranking: Season 4 > Season 3 > Season 2 > Season 5 > Season 6 > Season 1.

But if not... well, let's just say that Darwin is WAY better at talking to animals than that. Remember when Gumball tried to talk to a squirrel in an earlier episode, and the squirrel assaulted him and Darwin translated Gumball's weird squirrel-speak to "you're nuttier than your own droppings" or something like that?
I think out of the three adventure time is the best I still love regular show and gumball.

You can't enjoy childhood without being an idiot, you can tell school is poor at educating (they litterally just need to be frank with the information and it can be learned nearly instantly, but no using common sense is too difficult) from the simple fact almost everything they say to do makes no sense, one of the worst offenders is cursive, you could easily say "it helps your brain" probably a lie but they could've tried, lying would be bwtter than expecting something for no reason, numbers are numbers so basic math at least is just common sense too, geometry is probably simple too but never once did they actually explain how anything like how a protractor works, it's probably simple but can an educated individual such as a teacher explain how to use one? Nope it's half a fucking circle what is there for them to explain, you made it I didn't invent the protractor, it's the teachers job to teach how things works not expect the impossible out of students, they didn't invent it either but that doesn't change the fact they know how it works and how to explain how it works yet refuse to.
Also if I recall correctly they expected students to use the protractors, a set sized object that is not flat, and wanted us to use it for measuring, which itself probably makes sense there's maybe something to learn from size differences in some way, but that's not what it was for, or if it was, it was never taught that way, it's hard to explain because it just didn't make any sense, they always spoke in such stupid beating around the bush language,
They don't even suggest careers which each class is most associated with, everything they do is done too slowly&inaccurately(they take ages on simple things and then breeze right past fundamental and intrinsic pieces of information (I'm not omniscient so I can't remember what of course)
