Dr Ajay S Sekher’s keynote in the meeting at #Vaikom #Dalavakkulam for lighting the symbolic lamps of memory for the brave martyrs of 1806 Dalavakkulam struggle and genocide of #Ezhavar who tried to enter the Vaikom shrine that was a Buddhist shrine till 1539 and were massacred by the henchmen of #Veluthampy #Dalava and pushed into the mud here by #KunjukuttyPilla, #PappanavaPilla and #Kutirappakky. Historian #CherayiRamadas was also present. Sri #Udayappan Block Panchayat member also spoke. Organised by #TKMadhavan Charitable Trust Vaikom led by Ratheesh and Rajesh.
